^ I'm afraid Jeannie Buss would be too hot for Minnesota.

You could literally trade love for Pau straight up but Minni would fire Adelman before doing that

He'll probably sit out this road trip just like Meeks is going to and just like Young probably will.

^ If MDA is somehow someway still the coach of this team next season then not very high around here, if not, then a bit more. Just how much? Not sure.

Jody u thought his value was higher than it will be.

He looks good on a really good team but we have a lot o. Frontcourt players but none to defend.

That's why I think Chris Bosh would be PERFECT for us.

I'd even welcome back Pau under those conditions.

My views haven't really changed, other than the fact I now believe he is definitely not starter quality.  I argued against him being some borderline all star.  Guys were starting to line his numbers and play up vs Dwight's.

Hill is a role player who got hot when he did. And of course, I ( won't speak for anybody else) saw that and said start the man. I got caught up in the hype. Truth I'd, he is a role player and he was thrust into a starting u not and burned out.

If we do keep him I would probably give him 5 million a year, 6 at the max now. I think that's quite reasonable for a hustle, energy role player off the bench.

Why?  D'antoni has picked him 2 years in a row over the favored stretch 4 and made him a staple point of the bench in the role best suited for him.  It's not like he's buried on the bench anymore.

Kaman would have more of a beef with D'antoni than Hill at this point.

Because he has no established role. Look at his minute distributions game after game. One game he'll play 8 minutes, the next 26, the next 20, the next 5 minutes, and so forth. How can you sustain a rhythm with inconsistent minutes? And don't tell me that "MDA is watching his minutes." I wish MDA would sit down with all of our players and let them know their roles:

"Listen, Hill. You're job is to come in and provide extra opportunities for the team. When open, attack the paint. Don't settle for long midrange jumpers. I'll play you 16 minutes a night. Let me know if you're hurting."

Players came here to play for MDA because it was a rebuilding phase for us and they knew they'd be given an opportunity to showcase their talents. Now that they know what they can do, they'll probably be looking for better contracts elsewhere.

that's old.

For the last 2 months he's consistently played about 17-18 minutes a game and his established role is the bench 4/5.

It also depends on who has the hot hand which D'antoni is known for riding.

In this case, usually whenever Kelly was having a good game D'antoni would keep him in.  And now as he starts when Kaman is having a good game. However now D'antoni has been putting lineups of Kaman and Hill together which is a good sign.  You don't see Kaman and Sacre together now do you? ;)

Seems to be working for Hill as he's putting up his career bests in points rebounds and field goal percentage this year.

He's a very good role player and he's got the role player minutes. about 18 minutes a game.  Some nights he'll get 29 minutes though depending on the kind of role he's on or how his energy or defense is.

But there's nothing wrong with how D'antoni is playing him now, his role is pretty darn consistent.

The only time I really disagreed with Hill's minutes lately was all the way back in the Denver game.  That one I disagreed with majorly.   Hill should have gotten MUCH more time that game.

But aside from that lately I've had no issue.

He'll be leaving because of people like you as well, who support most of MDA's bull[expletive].
