Mike Woodson was “not happy” with J.R. Smith for his tweets directed at Pistons guard Brandon Jennings, and he said that if Smith keeps putting himself in these positions, “eventually no team is going to want to deal with you.”

“I was not happy about that and that’s why we had a behind-the-door meeting with he and Chris [on Thursday] because it’s ridiculous,” Woodson said during his weekly radio interview on ESPN New York Friday. “There’s got to come a time where you stop putting yourself in that position. It’s going to come a time when you keep doing it, eventually no team is going to want to deal with you. You got to learn from it. Those are the things where I’m trying to get this young man to.”

Ya'll re-signed him.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Typical NYK's, ranging from the playoffs going to clubbing, to the supposed injury coverup, to now this. His playing has been sub par that it doesn't even make for all this.

For some reason despite JR's atrocious behavior... Woodson will lose his job way before JR and probably within the next few weeks at the rate the Knicks are playing.

^ Simple. Huge market. New York. Madison Square Garden. Those things negate in large part their grand history of not winning much (championship-wise).

Smith is an idiot.

Always has been, always will be.  I don't care what he's done, doing or will do on a court, I wouldn't want him on my team for any price.

The Knicks to fire sale the team, get a GM that looks beyond names and gather a team that is willing to work to win.
