Despite Denver's 2-4 start under B. Shaw, this is still a back-to-back and we're entering that high altitude. I would think the guy who should be limited in minutes a whole lot more especially is Pau. Hopefully MDA sees it that way as well.

No McGee but Wilson Chandler possibly coming back tomorrow. Hope our bench plays well again.

So often it seems players tend to come back when the Lakers are in town. Coincidence? I think not.

Keep attacking the paint and shoot 3s when we have open looks. Win.

  1. The Lakers are actually 16-16 all-time in Denver on the 2nd of a back to back, but just 1-7 (.125) since 2003-04.

    Via STATS research, NBA teams are a combined 160-376 (.299) when playing in Denver on 2nd of a B2B. Since 2003, they're 27-118 (.186).

Gonna be a rough one, Denver knows what they don't have, they are gonna come out looking to make a statement and build a huge lead in case they start falling apart late.  We need to hit them in the mouth early, because if they stay with us for 3 quarters it could look a lot like the first Pelicans game.

No McGee? We must stay focused on Faried. Keep Hill as starter please. Watch out for Nate too. Ty will get his. If we control the tempo we win the game.

It is very similar to how we had to play the Pelicans coming off a back to back.  Keep the pace slow and build your lead and don't let them get momentum plays.

If the Nuggets get momentum plays it will be off to the races and three points raining galore.

Although it's a back-to-back and at Denver, the Nuggets are obviously without Gallinari and Mcgee. I'm interested in watching Hill vs. Faried.

Lakers 5-5

Well, in pre-season(which means mostly nothing)  Faried was frustrated by Hill as well as Williams when having to deal with them.

A lot of it also has to do with the fact that Shaw is trying to use him as a post player as opposed to pick and rolling 24/7 and making him shoot jumpers.  If that changes the matchup becomes very interesting.    But Faried may have an advantage as Hill hasn't really been a huge minutes guy, but he played 22 last night and it's a back to back, in Denver for an all energy and hustle player, so Hill may have some growing pains as a starter tonight.

Back to backs in Denver are never fun.  If we do win this game and not get run out of the building it will say a lot about this team.  No McGee just means they are gonna run more and Lawson is going to have his hand in offense more.

I'd love to say Pau should punish them down low as they are very undersized there without McGee..but I've learned not to get my hopes up.

Agreed.

Yeah, Pau should definitely take advantage of that. He needs to have a BIG game.

Maybe people think the game's at 10:30 Eastern?

Tough game definitely. But I think our youth will be less affected by the altitude and back to back

Pau better score well inside, a 6'9 Hickson will be guarding him.
