NBA Guru @NBAGuru

Kevin Martin on playing with the Wolves: "This is such a fun team to play on. Nobody is trying to lead the league in scoring here."

damn!!!!! Now we know why he left!!!!

Last year he averaged the lowest amount of both points and field goals attempted since his first two rookie seasons so makes sense to why he left and didn't like his role on the team.

K-Mart is trash, anyway.  He had plenty of opportunities to play well in OKC, but he didn't.

Kevin Love is averaging 29.7 PPG, by the way, lol.  That would be his teammate...so it's evident he's just angry at his piss poor play from last year.

Kind of reminds me of when Smush Parker went from LAL to Miami, this was pre-Lebron of course. Apparently made comments along the lines that Wade was a better overall teammate than Kobe.

Durant would be the bigger man to brush this off.

No point in feuding with someone miles below your talent level.

Is this the same K-Mart who starts to miss shots when the games start to actually matter?

Pretty petty to go to the media like that lol but even then nobody likes a ball hog... Not saying durant is in fact one(I want him taking 100% of the shots anyways) BUT if Martin really felt like that during his time in OKC then no one can really discredit his honest opinion even if he is full of it lol.

Martin was used to 15 shots and 35 mins per game, but in OKC with Westbrook and Durant both with extremely high usage rates those numbers went down to 10 shots and 25 minutes.

Now with Minnesota those numbers are up again and for a one-trick pony like Martin, this is a good place to be. Rubio is able to get him the ball in the right spot as well as cover up for some of his defensive shortcomings and Love is a guy who will get you second opportunities with his rebounding and a guy who'll get a lot of points without having plays run for him.

It's basically the opposite of Durant and Westbrook, but the fact that he [expletive]es about it is ridiculous.

It's true.

Westbrook shoots a ton, Durant has the ball and he doesn't ass.

This team is probably much more fun for him.

He isn't trash like some of you who never made it to a D1 college scholarship let alone the NBA, let alone average 20 in the NBa

KD is at 42% and was in the high 30s before Westbrook came back( the alpha)

Dude can ball. It must've sucked for him playing behind Durant & Westbrook.

Ah, I love when people say things like that, because...

Firstly, you had a BUNCh of bad contracts. Kobe and lamar ENDED the season INJURED. It was a bunch of REAL GARBAGE on this team.

pre-concussion Pau was not even a STAR..he was a garbage player who was too slow and clumsy.

I hope we don't sign any garbage *looks at Shawne Williams*

Let's take a page out of your book.  These are NBA players you're talking about.  Have you ever played in the NBA?

So, yeah...Kevin Martin is garbage.

Kevin  Martin averaged over 20 points in this league.

If that constitutes garbage then how many players aren't garbage?

He scores the ball

some players can only defend really well

some are just in it for rebounding

Kevin Martin is above average

I don't care what he used to do.  Pau Gasol used to average 18-20 a night, double-double, all-star big man that was Kobe's Robin for two championship rings...and yet, you called him garbage, despite him putting up around the same amount of points as K-Mart did last year, while doing more on the court.

So, if you don't mind, go find your post about Gasol, quote it, and write something similar about what he used to do.  Then, ask yourself if you've ever played in the NBA.  I'll wait.
