Spurs list Tim Duncan as day-to-day with chest contusion. Duncan has traveled to LA for San Antonio's Friday night visit to Lakeland.

Tim is likely out.  Chest contusion is too bad.

  1. RT @JMcDonald_SAEN: MRI confirms Duncan's chest contusion. He will travel with the team on road trip, but is doubtful for Lakers' game.

With Tim Duncan (chest contusion) doubtful per @JMcDonald_SAEN, SAS could start Parker-Green-Leonard-Diaw-Splitter vs. LAL on Friday.

It's not like San Antonio can't win without Tim.  So the Lakers need to come out aggressive and not flat.

We need to attack the basket early on. If we stick to outside jumpers, Pop will surely counter that.

the good thing is there wont be any Klay Thompson going on a scoring spree because Spurs are not like that. The bad thing is Spurs considered the best TEAM style ballers in the NBA.  Like it or not but the Lakers are still not a team yet. They still learning how to play together. Spurs on the other hand been together since World War II it seems like so if the Lakers have any chance of winning tonight, they need to play defense.     MDA and Defense? hmmm.   Kurt better pull something out of a his magic hat for tonights game.

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

how do you know that?  It could be another massacre against the lakers. I dont think it will be a good game if its another blow out.  If the Lakers have a good roster and kobe then I will say its going to be a good one. Sorry if im being a negative nancy but I have no faith in MDA and this roster at all.  All I can do is "hope" another miracle happen like on Tuesday.

Don't expect a win but I hope they play hard and don't give up like against the Warriors.

Spurs were 8-5 without Duncan last year.

Expect Leonard and Parker to try to go off.  And expect Splitter to take it to Pau who is sick today.    It's not like the Spurs can't win without Duncan.

We have to come out with an edge and with high energy if we want a chance here.   Because Leonard and Parker are gonna be on our rears if we don't.  Pop is actually going to pick and roll today.
