Now are bench should destroy them.

Did Bill Simmons make this schedule? Clippers on opening night, GSW at the Oracle the next night for THEIR home opener, and then against the reigning western conference champs on Friday. Not to mention all three games are in front of a national audience. It's like they thought "hm, the Lakers could have a down year this season, better put them up against three of the best teams in the conference and in front of the entire nation to kick things off". Oh well, gonna have to prove yourself over the course of the season and we've got three good opportunities to prove some people (like myself) wrong early on.

There's no better test for our squad. We're already plus one for the season cuz we beat a team we shouldn't have (according to all media outlets), so let's see if we can get another one.

Iggy will make X work for points, and it's going to take its toll on Henry when he's asked to defend him or Klay on the other end of the floor.

This game could present a guy like Young with an opportunity to step up and perform in Henry's place. Golden State will expect nothing less.

Agree 100%.  That's why I liked seeing Young frustrate Iggy in their matchup offensively and defensively.  So if X is making Henry work, I think Young is the one making Iggy work unless he has another cold night.

Tonight shall come down to our matchups at the 4 as well as the 1.   If Curry comes out on fire it doesn't matter who we put on him as he'll fire it up the second he crosses halfcourt if he is in the zone.

So we need to prevent the open jumpers because the Warriors are a team ALWAYS in it because of their three point shooting, we can't afford to leave them open.

Young and Williams need to come out hitting their shots so that we can stretch the warriors defense a bit and create some openings and our bench has to keep the momentum going.

Our bench is better than the Warriors bench so we've got to go out there and show it.

Also sneaky guy to watch out for, Klay Thompson, if Curry isn't on, he will be till he is.

We need to come out with the same edge we had last night, our bench too.   Warriors aren't playing Barnes or Ezeli.   It's a perfect trap game so let's keep that intensity.

I think that's another reason we have Farmar imo.

Now XH is on every team's radar. Defenders will be forcin him to drive on his right. Interesting how XH will adjust his game in the following games...

Think that's what Kobe was telling him to work on?

Steve Nash will not play tonight vs. GS. Lakers officially implementing Rest Nash plan. He'll sit out one game every back-to-back set.

Steve Nash will not play on the second of a back to back after playing 21 minutes in the first game of the season.

That's not good, right?  I understand the whole "plan" but c'mon.

Less time nash is playing the better. Would much rather have farmar and blake play the point. Get blake out from SG. He's a decent pg but not a SG.

After seeing how Farmar played yesterday, I think Mike was comfortable calling the shot, and Nash probably agreed to it.

We need to score more points than they do if we want to win this game.
