For what? That's 30M in salary.  Pau has a 15% trade kicker.  Don't say Kevin Love because they turned down Cleveland's 1st overall pick, Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters for him.

Are you endorsing a tank? Lol

And if that worst case happens, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Give me a lottery pick, plus cap space and we can rebuild slightly faster.

Pau's trade kicker won't that add much because he can't go over the max a player who's been in the league as long as he has can make. I remember reading it would add a few hundred thousand dollars.

Well that makes it 28M in salary.  Minny wouldn't do that deal.  Love's value is much too high to them for a expiring contract.  They don't have any reason to rush moving Kevin Love.

Not saying the T'Wolves would do it.

I just wanted to correct the trade kicker thing since so many people believe it would add more money than it would. It happened a lot in the Pau Gasol trade topic last season.

No one is taking Nash in a trade.

Most logical thing is playing through this season, then using the stretch provision in the off-season.  If the Lakers were actually contenders, it would be a different situation.

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick (Randle!) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)

He led in total assists while playing fewer minutes a game. Rondo had more per game though

Trade Pau to Chicago or San Antonio and let him him help knock off the Heat.

Some people here still suggesting tanking? Tanking is intentional. If we suck we suck lmfao but we won't ever suck on purpose.

I didn't watch the game, but it's a good sign he played 29 minutes of a preseason game. I doubt he plays that much if he's dealing with a major injury, even under MDA.

My gut feeling is that he really needs his minutes limited though if he's going to play most of the games this season. I think 20-24 minutes a game would be a good number.

yeah he played 29 minutes, after going through two full practices the last 2 days.

All good signs, he didn't look to score too much but he looked like Nash when he decided to be assertive and look for some offense.

Tanking is something mgmt does not the players.  Philly's players arent tanking but they also dont have much of a choice in being good.  If Kobe isnt back til December (which is what I believe) this team may be dead in the water.
