Shannon Brown......
Good%2520one.jpg

And anyone who thinks Lebron would "dominate" because of his size?

Wes Welker 5'-9", 185 lbs.

Undrafted

3x Receptions leader

2x receiving TD leader

First player ever to have five 100 reception seasons

This year at 32 years old...leading all receivers in TD's, 2nd in receptions.

If Bron transitioned to the NFL next week he would be dismantled after 1 hit.

Broken.

It would be the equivalent of Lebron thinking he could become a boxer?

10 seconds in the ring with any pro and he would be obliterated.

It would take the ref longer to declare a TKO than it would a pro to actually knock him out.

Same thing in NFL. 1 play where hes hit by Willis, Suggs, Matthews, Bowman, Kuechly, Spoon, Von Miller and a long list of others and experiment over. I'm serious when I say its probable he would be hospitalized.

You guys act as if Lebron would immediately be an everyday player in the nfl and just thrown in the trenches. No NFL coach in their right mind would throw him out in the open like that. Lebron would be a monstrous red zone threat. Non comparable, automatic TD. Just throw up to the guy and he'll get it. No matter what you guys try to argue, the NFL will always find a way to use athletes like Lebron James and other NBA players. Keep bringing up the physicality and mental toughness, the fact remains. Basketball is the tougher sport to go professional, thus gathers the better athletes. 15 roster spots on a NBA roster, compared to 22 positions on a football field at all times. You guys act like banging with 270lb 7 footers is a cake walk. Basketball is a very physical sport in its own right. Another thing you guys have to consider, these athletes conditioned their bodies to be in basketball playing shaping. Who's to say they can't easily put on another 30-40 pounds with their long frames? And yes, Shannon Brown would be a draft pick just based on his physical tools, easily.

Football players (particularly professional) are used to getting hit at high speeds. Basketball players are in no way, shape, form, or fashion conditioned for that type of physicality.

You just said it: Basketball players are conditioned...to play basketball.

Sure. LeBron could do it all. When he's done with his nba career, he'll run for president.

Just because you are an "athlete" doesn't mean you know how to throw a punch and box properly

I repeat...Lebron would get dropped in 5 secs in the ring with any pro boxer. That includes light and feather weights. He'd be hit 30 times faster than he could blink. He'd get dropped cold from lighting fast hand speed. Hand speed of a pro boxer is off the charts. That goes for anyone

^ Hand speed doesn't always automatically equate to great power though depending on size.
