Saw a high school game with him with other good players in it.  He can ball.  Wiggins is getting more hype due to his physical ability but Parker is said to be further along skill wise.  Can't wait for the NCAA season. this year.

Agree with you.  Been saying for a while Parker will have the better college career over Wiggins and will go into the NBA with the more complete game.

He'll have a complete game before Wiggins does.  That's for sure.

It's up to Wiggins to become as disciplined as Jabari is.   That's the only thing that people see as an issue with Wiggins.  So we'll see this first year at Kansas if it rids him of that mentality.

Problem is Wiggins is already looking ahead to the NBA Draft.. did not like the comment he made about "just enjoying the one year of college".   He can't look ahead like that.

Jabari seems the more focused and disciplined guy, just not with as many gifts.   But he has sneaky gifts lol

Jabari Parker will be the better college player, given the system he'll be in (Self won't give Wiggins any breathing room as a superstar college player, I can guarantee this), but once the NBA comes knocking, Wiggins will surpass him as a pro...assuming both stay focused (with good attitudes) and healthy.

Jabari's Duke debut

22 points 5 rebounds 1 assist on 80% shooting.

Not bad but I'd be crazy if I expected his shooting percentage to remain that high =p

Exactly

This will be mayo vs Derrick rose all over again

Mayo was the refined offensive player who worked himself into a versatile combo guard who could score In a variety of ways

Rose was the athlete who was raw

Mayo ended up statistically out producing rose by a long shot in college

But come NBA where there isn't strict offensive philosophies, and no ability for centers to camp the paint wiggins will outshine Parker because he's just special athletically. Unguardable in the more open style of the NBA

Jabari will be much more successful than mayo because mayos biggest issue is his size, and Jabari won't have that issue. I expect Jabari to be a 20,5,5 player for his whole nba career

Maybe even peaking at 25,5,5

But wiggins will be that guy who will have a 30ppg season, the guy who will become an unstoppable force

I can't wait for Kansas vs. Duke tonight. It is my 21st Birthday tonight so I hope it will be a great game. I want to see Wiggins vs. Parker one-on-one at least twice in tonight's game.
