I take it back, I'm glad the Clippers covered our banners.

Our banners shouldn't be subject to watching Clippers basketball.

The Clippers Selfie Banners play better coverage defence on the Lakers than their actual team does lmao!!!

The Clippers should have been playing here in Anaheim a long time ago. The Angels have been terrible for years but they are still top 10 in attendance every year with well over 37k a game average. Even the Ducks manage well over 85% capacity for the season and they have been awful for years.

Update:
They clowned Lakers Legends yesterday, covering statues outside the Staples with balloons. :-/

Next step, toilet paper?

While it could be worse (completely covering the statues), it's still stupid they have to resort to that.

Covering up the banners inside the stadium is one thing (although I think it's a pathetic move - you should respect the banners and use them to motivate yourself), but the statues outside should be completely left alone. Those are legends. They're history. They earned the right to be there.

Oh baby Clippers.

Lakers should build statues of Loy Vaught, Charles Smith, and Keith Closs.

Now that would be epic!

Man thats 2 really good ideas in one day (other being hire both van gundy's).

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick (Randle!) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)

Max & Marcellus talked about it today, saying:

"Next time Sterling just put a red nose on the great Kareem. "

If they don't like the statues so much, maybe they should get their own arena in their own city and build their own legacy?

They're not even a real LA team. They have no fanbase in or outside of LA besides basketball hipsters who want to root for them instead of the Lakers.

I'm surprised Sterling hasn't done this for so long.
