^ Yes & Bynum was 13 at some point after injury if I'm not mistaken as well, but I was reading some insider dude named Larry Coon, who was a part of this voting process and his response to the Rose injury ranking in comparison was that that was then and the criteria or system has changed a bit since. Oh really? How convenient. BS.

In my opinion

leBromn is the best

Durant-Kobe-Chris Paul are tied

and

Wade-Westbrook-(maybe) Paul George-(maybe) Tony ParkerNo

w

putting kobe on that next list is fine.

Anything less is disrespectful

But in sports , there is  a CLEAR East Coast bias and I bet this list reflects that... I bet Curry is Super High, bc he was a college star and had a breakout playoffs and MSG performance

Curry will be high because he is good.

Curry will be high because he is good.

Of course he's good.

ut he had a nice run, and sometimes players can get "hot' or play a bit above themselves.

I think players who lack durability, lack what the greatest of the greats don't lack. what lebron doesn't lack. What Kobe , in his prime, didn't lack.

right now, Rose and Curry have to be a little lower because of that.

I mean even Chris Paul is ranked lower than Durant mainly because of Durant's health seems to be much greater than that of CP3's knees.

Curry is good, but is he ranked as high as

Rondo,Parker,Paul,Westbrook,Rose or Irving? In your book?

I think Kobe is going to decline a little bit after this injury, but I wouldn't drop him out of the top 10 without seeing him out on the court first. Out of the top 20 is absurd.

What makes this worse is that these rankings are based on an average score. Some of the raters probably had him at a reasonable rating. But, other raters had him far lower than where he ended up.

This is definitely the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life bar none. Thanks though BSPN!!! It's just gonna make him come back even stronger. These idiots keep gift wrapping these things for us. I'm honestly starting to think they just make up these rankings to see how Kobe responds. Because it would be REALLY hard to believe that some people could actually be that stupid...

Funny thing is people are trying to say "We don't know how he'll come back from this injury. We're guessing how he'll be this season."

Didn't ESPN rank Derrick rose at 5 last year in his comeback year which never happened?   So that means they assumed once Derrick Rose came back(that year) that he'd be the 5th best player in the league?

I've always liked Steve Blake.

Curry will be high because he is good.

Personally I don't think he can take over games at all unless he get's a hot hand (which he can be deadly, not denying),but too dependent on his 3 point shot. He somewhat got exposed by SA in the playoffs, isolate him and keep the ball out of his hand and he pretty much becomes one dimensional, little to no defense, no playmaking.

You talking before or after the injury?

Comments like this are exactly why I think Curry has always been uderrated. Curry is not just a shooter or shot creator for himself. He is underatted passer and playmaker.

Cause are overly critical of non Laker players.  How many PGs in the league are putting up 23/7 and shooting well over 40% from 3?  Every player can improve some aspect of their game but Curry is a great player and the Warriors are going to be a tough team.

Why are we even questioning Curry? He puts the fear of God in me whenever he's got the ball in his hands, no matter how good or bad he's doing that day.

Same way I used to feel about Deron Williams until he got fat and went to Brooklyn.

Why are we even questioning Curry?

Because of how SA exposed a certain hole in his game in the playoffs. He needs to work on more consistently being able to create for himself going to the basket & having success there. Yes he can do it, but when you force him to exclusively just do that as San Antonio did, he can have some issues and he also disappeared for too long of stretches when his team needed him most as their supposed go-to #1 option.
