They should put this on another channel

Star Wars Rebels is an upcoming CGI animated series that will be produced by Lucasfilm and Lucasfilm Animation. It takes place between Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, in which the Galactic Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights as a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking form. The series is scheduled to premiere in Fall 2014 as a one-hour special on Disney Channel before airing regularly on Disney XDDave FiloniSimon Kinberg, and Greg Weisman have all been announced as executive producers. It is possible that Ahsoka TanoAnakin Skywalker's former Jedi Padawan, will make an appearance in the series, as stated by executive producer Dave Filoni

and i knew ahsoka's story couldn't just end the way it did on clone wars, it would be awesome to bring back an older ahsoka whooping ass

It's going to be hard to top Clone Wars. I still can't forgive Disney XD for scrapping Spectacular Spider-man and producing that Ultimate Spider-man filth.

Spectacular Spider-Man was produced by Sony though.  I'm not defending Ultimate Spider-Man (though I do have to watch the show at my job), I'm just saying it makes sense that Disney would want to do their own thing...

Nope, it's not based on anything previously published.

It's a new series that takes place between Episodes 3 and 4 and tells the story of the beginning of the rebellion against the Empire. It has nothing to do with Starkiller or any previously published storyline.
