Kaman is going to rest, Farmar is gonna have his minutes lowered.   Nash and Gasol are only gonna play about 20 minutes.

Would be nice to win but I think we'll see some guys we didn't last night like DJO, more Gadzoric and Sacre etc.   So could be a loss but I just want to see advancement in our style and a better game from Meeks and Johnson(no more guarding 4s!).  A win would be great though.

Is Darius Johnson Odom back? Sorry for sounding ignorant but I haven't been following every transaction exactly.

Yes he is back on the team, for camp. Darius morris is a 76er and CDR is a Knick.

hope that catches you up :)

Trying out new things.  Good to see that Young and Wesley are in the positions they should be.  Williams could benefit from Pau and Nash for wide open looks.

Ultimately I think this will be a good unit for mid game, maybe even first off the bench type.   We'll see what it does against Denver's starters tonight.

Our lineup is SO versitile we can literally do about 5 or 6 different things depending on matchups with that lineup.

Farmar will not play tonight.

So Farmar and Kaman will be resting.

Farmar's a big loss. Let's hope Blake doesn't go anywhere near 2-8 tonight.

yeah, tonight should really be to acclimate guys to playing to Nash and playing with Gasol.

Dunno if we'll win tonight because No Kaman, and no Farmar is a big hit to our defense and extra rebounding.

I'm guessing next game D'antoni is gonna start Gasol next to Kaman to compensate for lost time and play Farmar with Nash while resting Blake.

or since it isn't a back to back everyone may play.

But I think tonight is about getting Nash and Gasol re-acclimated more so than winning.   So if that's the case I'll be watching to see how the chemistry starts out etc and what Gasol and Nash show us.

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE!! If these lineups DO WORK with guys sitting out or resting etc.

Then it can REALLY help on back to backs.

Like let's say we have a game against the Wizards and then a back to back against Miami.

If our guys look consistent, then literally I'd have confidence in us resting our vets while the young guys play against the Wizards and then has everyone play in the Miami game.

I really hope our depth becomes that consistent.

All the more important we get off to a fast start after the first 3 games(no matter the record after them) so that we can afford to do that.

So that said, without Kaman out there too, and with Hill still regaining his explosiveness, Faried probably takes down 30 rebounds X_X

I don't know how much he'll regain it though considering he himself said he'll never be 100% no matter what so this might be about what we'll see from him if not just a little more sadly.

Well he started looking like his old self in the second half. I think it's just about regaining that timing and explosiveness, can't simulate the NBA speed so I hope this pre-season gets all the rust off.

One thing I noticed was that he was basically in every rebound battle except for the times he shot the ball which is logical and he wasn't scaling around the perimeter like he wanted to shoot threes, he was 90% of the time in the paint anticipating what Kaman was gonna do.
