Good thing is Rose looks ready to give them everything and I like it.

Lol, you sounded exactly like Majesty there. I mean as if you were literally him.

Looking forward to seeing Rose and Bulls do well, It will make a nice change the heat and lebron praise fest that has been happening for the last  two years.

Three actually eventhough they didn't win it that first year, they were still getting their Johnsons sucked left & right by the media most of the year.

Welp, I guess I can do a mean Majesty in short spurts, but no way can I emulate his verbose posts. That's way too much effort for the points I want to get across lol

D-Rose dropped 32 on the defensive-minded Pacers. Not bad, preseason or not. Guy is back.

Full highlights of his performance:

Can he remain healthy though.

Do u guys really remember Vince and Tracy and Iverson in their primes.

First off, when Rose won the MVP it was a little overblown because Thibs proved that he is worth an elite player himself and Noah may be a Hall of Famer( College)and one of the rare defensive stalwarts.

I look at how long it usually takes bigs to really get SMART, and I think Tyson Chandler is a great example. Even Shaq or Hakeem.

Bit I digress.

Rise is special and super talented, a hard worker but he did choke on some FT situations in big games and as a Kobe fan, I don't like when superstars have those type moments repeatedly. .

wonder where all of those haters that were making fun of him last year are now.   Especially the ones in Chicago that now are cheering like no tomorrow.

I wouldn't blame Rose for bolting first chance he gets if Chicago doesn't do it this year in the coming years and head in the OKC direction.

D-Rose continues his fine play. 24 against the Bucks yesterday. That jumper's looking much improved, especially the 3pt shot.

^ I'd say the season has already started for Rose

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick!, 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!)

Maybe history is really repeating itself

Rose may ascend to be the best of the next, it's possible Lebron only wins two, and he never has a team as TALENTED as the ones with Wade and Bosh and some all-time role players in Haslem, Battier,Chalmers(imo) and Mike Miller

Not to mention Ray Allen and Birdman

Rose comes up as the best, which I always thought he could be, but I still have reservations about his late game play particularly FTs in the clutch

When I look at Durant,Rose,Westbrook,Harden,Curry,Blake,Irving, and THAt era of players

the ONLY one I really think has what i've seen in Kobe,MJ and Lb is Westbrook and Irving thus far

I see rose's FREAKISH ability, sorta like LeBron and that may be enough to get you a couple or at least one.

Stop, people have the right to criticize when they string you along all season with the maybe's. He wouldn't have got half the backlash he got if he would've just come out and said, I WON'T PLAY THIS SEASON.

Stop, people have the right to criticize when they string you along all season with the maybe's.

The only people that kept making it "maybe's" were the media.

Rose said time and time and TIME again that he wasn't going to return till he was confident in his abilities to play at the level to not hurt his team.

Rose also said time and time again how he wasn't confident yet in his ability to push off two legs or break down defenses.   He doesn't have to put a time limit on it.  Kobe isn't. Why should Rose?    When you put a time limit on it then you're putting unneeded pressure on yourself when you could be ready as early as tomorrow.  He did nothing wrong.     The smartest thing to say is "I'll be back when I'm ready" and then when you're ready say "I'm back"     Why would he put himself in a box by saying "I'll be out the whole year" when he himself didn't even know if he would be?    The Bulls prepared their roster for if he was out the whole year so he shouldn't have to say anything of the sort.

Rose kept saying it the entire darn year but the media kept trying to say "He'll return at this time" or "he'll return at that time"  or "You KNOW he's just saying that, I mean he's practicing so he'll be back soon."

The media did that, NOT Rose.

So if you want to believe the media over the guy himself it's your prerogative but Rose didn't deserve any of the backlash he got when he said it straight from day one he wouldn't return unless he felt confident enough and even specified what he didn't feel confident with.  Rose's own team even put HIM on the playoff cards as if he'd return against the Heat and he never said a darn thing.

Just because the media decided to never believe him along with the fans is their fault not his.

Plus, he also may have been taking advice from his lawyer, agent or the team on how to manage fanbase expectations (plus sponsors, plus endorsement deals) based on his iffyness regarding the timing of the comeback.
