I think my issue here is Lakers fans only want Lebron and that to me is stupid thinking.  Its like the same goes for lakers fans only want Phil Jackson.   I just can't see any superstars willing to play for the lakers. Is this going to be another post Magic Johnson  and James Worthy era? Remember the early 90's to 96 our main guy was Cedric Cebollos.  Guess who was in the front office. Jerry Buss and Jerry West.  So for the fans to blame Jim Buss for everything is just stupid.

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

Just hire a competent head coach and go from there.

They should have kept trying to trade Pau.

Who is to say they didn't. his value kept dropping at a Rapid pace and we weren't going to take bAD contracts( as in length) for Pau

If he is as good as some of you delusional Pau fans think, then he could have been moved.

Hell, just trade him for peanuts...value for value.

It's not wise to pay a marginal player 20 mil

you have a problem with the way we're playing?  or is it just the coach that's teaching us to play that way?

I'm liking what I've been seeing of this team, so I gotta give props to D'Antoni. We'll see how this translates to real games, but he's on the verge of winning me back.

I haven't watched any games. Basketball doesn't exist while football season is in.

I'm sure I'll catch some games...provided a football game isn't on at the same time.

But, I don't have my usual "can't wait til basketball season" mood. And after everything that has transpired, I won't.

But...you'll keep commenting on the team even when you haven't seen any games?

That's cool. Let me know when you catch some games so I can take your opinions seriously.

Didn't you just say this?

We'll see how this translates to real games

What of it? I also said that I'm liking what I've seen so far and all of my opinions are formed from having watched a few games. In contrast, it's tiring to hear you yammer on and on about Pau and D'Antoni like they're going out of fashion.

Just what is your deal?

Why are you [expletive]ing? Didn't you throw out the "real games" quip? These games don't mean [expletive] and we've seen what MDA does when the games DO MEAN [expletive].

I wasn't aware that MDA was ever IN fashion.

Every year the lakers don't win a title, is a year that they suck? Some fans will say the Lakers suck , or individually Lakers in the rotation of a championship team sucked.

That's not constructive criticism , it's basically a bull[expletive]ter
