I am a Dodger fan foremost, never liked any AL team, except maybe the A's. But don't know why I also want to see Pittsburgh have some success.

This should be a much better postseason, especially compared to last year's lackluster.

Cardinals look pretty damn good again. Just one game, but still. Wouldn't surprise me if they really get it going. They almost always seem to turn it up another level in the playoffs. Beltran has filthy career playoff numbers.

I miss Dennis on the TBS postgame.

Mixture of Cardinals playing well and the Pirates being highly overrated. Their starting pitching staff is average at best.

Damn. The Red Sox absolutely kicked the Rays' ass. Ouch.

Ex-Reds Manager Dusty Baker Received Racist Hate Mail

“The last couple weeks, I’ve been getting a rash of hate mail, racial mail,” he said. “Maybe it is time to go.”

“This is really ugly,” he said. “There are all sorts of references to Barack Obama. So now I know where they are coming from. I don’t know, maybe people are mad at him, so they don’t like the idea of blacks in authority.”

Ain't that almost always the case? Postseason comes down to pitching. Two games today, both end 1-0. Red Sox didn't even get a hit, in their home, crazy.

SMMFH! Detroit choking hard here - Lead 5-1, now it's tied. I stopped watching and thought it was over...What the hell happened?

Scherzer should have went 150 pitches, if he had to.

Bullpen imploded, big Papi grand slammy. Perhaps some questionable decisions by Leyland if you're a Tigers fan.

Just insane - Should have just walked Ortiz. Benoit had like 6 runs to work with against the A's last series, and nearly gave that up, as well.

That's unfortunate for the Tigers. Their old closer the eccentric Jose Valverde had major choking issues as well.
