Same people who like Goudelock and CDR love Henry already.

What they all have in common is that they can all score the ball and actually create their own shot. We've never had too many of those guys since Kobe's been in here. It's refreshing to have a legitimate one in Nick Young finally.

We shall see what Henry does moving forward.
He played like Melo tonight. He isn't that
Maybe another Earl Clark
Nick Young tho, we haven't had THAT skillset to play off Kobe.

Who looked worse though in your guys' opinions? Meeks or Johnson?

I'd say Meeks.  Johnson was played out of position most of the game and at the very least made some defensive plays.  Meeks on the other hand...  was pretty much the weak link out there all of the game.

Henry for the 2 and KEEP Johnson as a 3 or as a 2 and he'll be fine.  No more 4 for Johnson.

Let's just realize that for the first half OUR BENCH hung with the Warriors and took a lead, and in the 2nd half we kept that lead while trying out new stuff but I'm guessing lineups with Henry in it are gonna be the lineups that are most effective.

I'm so amazed that our bench beat their rotation guys.  If we play to that kind of level defensively as well then I think we can surprise some people.

Obviously the Warriors are weakened with the loss of Jack and Landry.   Our bench I think is what gives us an advantage its pretty darn versatile.

One thing that shouldn't be underrated.  Our team defense.

We were sufficating the Warriors everywhere, and they even went 1-10 from three in the first half and THAT was their starters

Can one of you guys make the gameday thread for tomorrow's game please?

Edit: it's 12 am, rather today's game.

This was the most exciting preseason game I've seen.

Good start.. This line-up would kill last year starters..

Seeing this without kobe/nash/pau is good. There are mistakes, but for a 1st pre-season game, you'd hope it gets better and better.

Health , Consistency , hustle& defense > our mantra.

Yep it was real encouraging to hear Xavier say that the coaching staff stresses the oimportance of defense over all else and that's where the team wants to hang their hat.

D'antoni is putting together a free flowing offense that we can score 100 a game with, and Rambis and the other coaching staff is putting together defensive schemes that can play off it.

I liked the blend.  We need to fix the turnovers though but in terms of defensive tenacity I like what I saw last night.  I liked it a LOT.    We basically forced a majority of Golden State's shots to be contested and then we'd be running on offense even if we didn't score off the fast break much we forced a lot of effort out of them.  So much so that Harrison Barnes was sucking wind by the 3rd quarter.  I liked what I saw.

Shawne Williams also said that D'antoni is "different" and is focusing more on preaching defense and that the offense 'will come' when it used to be the other way around.

So from what I saw last night that seemed to be the case, I don't even think we took that many threes X_X
