I think he's very capable.  Durant's assist numbers have increased over the past 2 years while maintaining the same scoring numbers and less FGA.  I think his improvement as a player is grossly overlooked.  28/8/4 last year while only avg 18 shots a game.  Thats crazy.

he's a great stat guy.

lets see him be the engine, or if he is capable of doing it, because he has bee on a great team for a while.

Durant  went to the Finals with two superstars NOw ranked higher than the ones LeBron ad in Westbrook and Harden

Without them, harden and him seemed to be equals in that playoff series

Durant can play point forward.

The question is how the rest of his team is gonna respond do that and how their games will be.  They're gonna be going till likely December without Westbrook and who knows how long it will take Westbrook to get into basketball shape or to do what he's known to do and it ain't exactly a deep team so...

Russell may be rushing back.  Don't.

Yep... last thing I want is Westbrook rushing back because of it though.

Me either. I appreciate the fire that is Westbrook, ever since I saw him give us the business in 2010, while Durant was locked down in the Artest arrest and then I saw him go into Big 3 Boston without Durant and lead the Thunder to victory.

That boy is a beast.

He's been cleared for tonight's game.

This is important. Oklahoma City is now a 1-4 seed as opposed to a 4-6 seed. This makes the battle atop the West a little more interesting as well because at full strength I still believe OKC is a better team than the Clippers, Grizzlies, Spurs and the Rockets.

We'll see how well he plays.

OKC looked so promising midway through last season. Now they've been cut off everyone's list, even with Westbrook.

Let's see how RWB comes back from this now

Better hope he's not rushing back or it's gonna be a loooooooong season.

We already know OKC isn't doing anything this year.

Should've take a week more, he barely got cleared to play, oh well if he feels it then no problem. Wonder how much of a shooter he will be.

I don't think problem is so much, it's that OKC realized they were about to really suck if Westbrook wasn't back.   Even then I wouldn't risk it.

Maybe OKC is the team that should "tank" honestly.  It's not worth bringing back Westbrook too early that you lose him late or he never regains effectiveness because he never gets to 100%.

I've got Golden St, the Clippers, and the Rockets over them. Definitely not Memphis and somewhat iffy/not sure on the Spurs.
