Mike deserves more of a chance than laker fans have given him thus far.He didn't have a training camp he had a roster selected for another coach, terrible chemistry issues and had a large part of the team including all his star players suffer injuries. Last year would have been a difficult season for most coaches, yet he still finished the season 28-12 basically playing .700 ball for the final half of the season.

That was a GREAT interview. Good, questions. Tough questions. Honest, well thought out answers...except maybe the jeannie buss betrayal one and how he felt.

Regardless, i think mike is a great interview and i really want that guy to succeed here.

Very impressed with the guy asking those questions. Asked every question that mattered.

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health (looks pretty good so far), 2. High Draft Pick (Randle...injured game #1.*sigh*) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of, Davis, nice upside!), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)

Good to know they're at least staying true to their word. Fox that is in guaranteeing one of their goals would be to not shy away as much as ESPN from going a little further.
