Prime kobe owns a lot of NBA past and present players

Kobe "stole" from Kareem and Dirk, but he needs to adapt Wade's spin move and Harden/Wade/Manu's two step

Wade's spin move wouldn't translate the same if Kobe used it. Different body types, different footwork.

For anyone that comments on this being unlikely because of how LBJ's speed and power would overpower MJ clearly forget that in MJ's youth, his athleticism, agility, speed, and feel for the game were unmatched. The Jordan in the 90's which most of us are used to actually was a slower and physical guard style of play (likely due to overcoming Bad Boy Pistons), similar to how Payton would destroy any PG or similar stature.

Young MJ would be all over the floor and be swiping at LBJ every chance he got, while the older MJ would be posting, going baseline, contacting for fadeaways (ahem Kobe) and so much more. LBJ even to this day doesn't have a refines set of skills most 'guards' have, to a lesser degree like Howard, they both rely in their physical attributes immensely.  Which is why when LBJ's body begins to break down, it will be very noticeable.

In reality considering his competitiveness MJ was more than likely taking shots at Kobe. but because both are guards with similar skill sets and mental strength, then even MJ knows it would not be a cakewalk.

You go in with the understanding of, 'I'm going to get hit. I'm going to pay the price,'" he said. "But that's part of the game. I'm not going to be afraid to go inside. Those are the types of things that these kids don't even have a clue of how we had to grow up and how we had to play

If LeBron was getting backed down in the post by MJ he'd probably flop.

I DON'T LIKE LEBRON. How hard is that for you people to understand? Do I need to be a little more clear? Kobe is my FAVORITE player of all time and always will be. I know when to give credit where credit is due, unlike some of you. This [expletive] is starting to piss me off...

you mad bro?

just messin

why hurt your athletes(entertainers)?

thats bad for the NBA and if you want to talk about soft, your favorite league is gotten progressively softer each decade. It went from Deacon jones and eventually LT, to guys like JJ watt getting praise for "battin down balls" FOH with that

Take out Peyton's manning neck like they would have done in the 60s

You don't beat MJ with athleticism, he was 6-6 210 and fierce. He won't back down from anyone

You beat Michael tactically, with your mind. It's the only hope

Kobe has the best combo of mind and body to do it. He has punches and counter punches for every move

It's a sport that can be physical.

It's part of the game

You want some soft [expletive]-footing then you better switch to golf or something.

Football is trying become a little bit safer...protecting players at the neck and above. Don't even compare the two...the NBA is not anywhere near the NFL's level. Watt got praise for leading the league in sacks...do your homework first. Defensive ends are taught to get their hands up in the event they can't get to the QB; that's better than having Aaron Rodgers destroy you every snap.
