Why is Freddie Freeman being over looked for NL MVP.

Braves coasted to the 2nd best record in the NL while experimenting with rookie pitchers since the ASB and Freeman is the main reason why.

#3 average, .319

#2 rbis, 109

#10 runs, 89

#7 hits, 176

#16 HRs, 23

#6 obp, .396

#8 slg%, .501

#7 ops, .897

#3 fielding %, .993

no disrespect to Kershaw but I dont know how 16-9 season tops that. A MVP Pitcher needs to win a minimum 20 games imo.

But Kershaw and Wainwright are a clear cut for the Cy Young award.

Well Kershaw isn't going to win MVP.

And wins/losses don't equal how good a pitcher is.   Kershaw had 5 no decisions where he gave up 1 ER or less.  In four of his nine losses, he gave up 2 ER or less.

Freeman had a great year and should be top 3 in voting.

It's probably because Paul Goldschmidt and Joey Votto had better seasons at first base. Not to diminish his season or anything, Freddie Freeman is deservant if votes. Kershaw has a legitimate case at being MVP, he leads the league in WAR I believe. If a position player were to win, I feel that Andrew McCutchen deserves to win it. Led the Pirates for their first playoffs in my lifetime.

FYI - these are just my opinions, hence "post your picks"

And I picked Kershaw for MVP because there is really no one in the NL that stands out among the rest...maybe Goldschmidt, but he won't win it because we know how these writers like to vote (he's on a non-playoff team so he's out of the picture)...

Baseball isn't that interesting

I don't follow it enough to know who good gloves should be...

Kershaw is cy young lock
Puig and ryu should be top 3 or 4 for nl rookie

Kershaw will get a good look at MVP...
But puig should get a look at MVP as well... You can argue no one in the MLB was as important to his team as puig was! Dodgers sent from dead in the water, to World Series contender, with his insertion in the lineup the only real change

Dodgers the only team in MLB I follow at all
Don't ever look at al box scores. Ever

Very rarely even look at other nl box scores. Only to see if dodger competitors lost
