The clock is ticking for the Pacers to prevent Paul George from restricted free agency. But he says not to worry.

Via the Indianapolis Star, George says he will sign an extension with the Pacers before the 2013-14 season starts.

“[A long-term contract] is going to get done,” George told the Indianapolis Star. “There will be a deal signed and sealed on the table before the season. We're [George and Pacers management] on the same page.”

Who is left on the Lakers radar for those two max slots?  Adonal Foyle and Raef LaFrentz?

Anyone who thought we had a chance was grasping at straws. Lets worry about drafting our own talent..

Sooner or later, reality will set in for the segment of Delusional Laker Fans that regularly post on here.

Those of us who keep saying that it needs to be deconstructed before it can be constructed are being proven correct so far.  The DLFs will see the light eventually, probably after the next debilitating Kobe injury, and the big whiff that appears to be developing in the 2014 off season.

In the meantime, we realists will enjoy the "who is the better on ball defender Meeks or Young?"  followed by the "Clippers will always $uck" and similar posts.

And dont worry DLFs, when you finally see the light, we wont say "we told you so"  too much.

Paul George has a good thing going in Indiana and can improve in the future. Very glad for him.

Hope they keep Granger there, too.

He still has time, but he doesn't appear to be a consistent legitimate true superstar just yet at least.

give him two more years.. he needs to face more adversity.. needs to be challenged more by the media and those around him.. he seems like he is on cruise control way to much in playoff games.. if i was vogel.. i would have wanted him to jack more shots, force his will more in game 6
