By Adrian Wojnarowski

Los Angeles Lakers free-agent guard Darius Morris is finalizing an agreement with the Philadelphia 76ers, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Morris, 22, will sign a partially guaranteed contract for the 2013-14 season, but is expected to make the 76ers' roster and play meaningful backcourt minutes this season.

Morris, a fleet, 6-foot-4 point guard, turned down a chance to return to the Lakers for his third season there, choosing the chance for a bigger role with the rebuilding 76ers. Philadelphia added two guards this off-season: first-round draft pick Michael Carter-Williams of Syracuse, and it acquired Tony Wroten from the Memphis Grizzlies.

Morris averaged four points and 1.6 assists in 14.2 minutes per game for Los Angeles last season..

He's gonna go far.

Reach for the stars, Morris. Reach.

"You watch anime?"

- "Yeah, I just got into it! Just recently, I just started watching Attack on Ti-"

"Get away from me, pleb."

^ Funny that you mention him. I honestly haven't seen much of him around here ever since we got rid of Morris. I guess it makes even more sense now.

Hope his hard work pays off and he'll at least get to see Kobe whenever they are in Philly.

Anyway I hope he does well.  I'm upset though that Philly no longer has Collins, because Collins would work on his defense even more and that was one thing Morris was actually getting good at or on his way to being good at.

Wish him the absolute best and hope his hard work pays off!!!

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Woah, I had no idea the 6ers snagged Wroten from Memphis. They got some big PG's in Philly now.
