Good pickup for them. Low risk, very high reward. They needed some help desperately being defending back-to-back champions.

SMH at OKC. A team way more in desperate need of help, specifically scoring & creators doesn't do jack. Durant & Westbrook needing help continues to get overlooked by their declining front office.

Really surprised OKC didn't step up to the plate, they get worse and worse very year now it seems while Miami just upgrades its working pieces, still can't forget how they got Oden, still got Allen, and now Beasley.

Possibly a 3 peat now, with Oden and Beasley, you can rest Lebron a bit more, maybe Beas helps Battier rest more in the reg season.

I actually do think the Lakers were in the race.

I was listening to Max and Marcellus earlier today and a broadcaster had mentioned something along the lines of.

"The Lakers are out of the Beasley race as he has signed with the Heat" (paraphrasing)

Beasley gone. Time to look at the other choice 1 James Johnson, 2 Tyrus Thomas, 3 Louis Amundson, etc.

Who's the last team to go to 4 straight finals

Beasley is good but wade has shown a big decline and bosh has turned into an energy guy for them. It'll probably be okc vs Brooklyn

Good points.  LeBron had to do alot more this year than in previous years to carry them to a title.  Wade keeps getting hurt and fading.  Bosh is there but not the same as a few years ago.  So, they will need more from the Beasley and Oden types.  Before we crown them agin, let's see what those 2 guys can actually bring every night.  Oden could be hurt within a  few weeks and out for the year and Beas could get arrested driving to the team media day.
