Nice to know that not only are Kobe and Carmelo close, but Lala(who prefers LA to New York) is also friends with Vanessa.
Could be just a casual meal together just like their husbands had about a month ago.
It could mean absolutely nothing that Carmelo's wife is also close with Kobe's and just so happens to prefer LA to New York while Carmelo spends his off-season in LA and not New York and whom has a very close relationship with Kobe Bryant whom has talked about how they both schemed strategies they'd use shall they ever team up together.
But no.. it could mean absolutely nothing one of his closest friends and big brother, his wife, and his off-season preference all happen to be LA or when asked if he and Kobe could play well together on the same team Carmelo says "yes" and when asked if him and LeBron could play well on the same team Carmelo says "I mean..we could play in the Olympics.." or that Lala and Vanessa are close enough to go out dining together just as their husbands do.
Nope...means nothing, Carmelo will obviously fully embrace the Bargnani, Stoudamire era in New York with JR Smith beside him as the only guy that can create offense by himself while having to sit through two more years before Stoudamire is gone and the Knicks are able to make any moves and he'll simply ignore the Lakers having enough money for two max contracts as well as 19 million additional to play with and re-sign back the depth that works out this year back on next year and having a younger better core in general. Cause I mean.. who the heck wants that right? Who needs Kobe Bryant when you got JR Smith?!
