The playoffs begin with the National League wild card game on Tuesday, Oct. 1 followed by the American League wild card game on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Both games will be televised by TBS.

The NLDS both begin on Oct. 3 and, if they last the full five games, will end on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Both are played in a 2-2-1 format:

  • Game 1: Thursday, Oct. 3 (TBS)
  • Game 2: Friday, Oct. 4 (TBS or MLB Network)
  • Game 3: Sunday, Oct. 6 (TBS)
  • Game 4: Monday, Oct. 7 (TBS or MLB Network)*
  • Game 5: Wednesday, Oct. 9 (TBS)*
    *if necessary

The ALDS both begin on Oct. 4 and can last through Thursday, Oct. 10:

  • Game 1: Friday, Oct. 4 (TBS or MLB Network)
  • Game 2: Saturday, Oct. 6 (TBS)
  • Game 3: Monday, Oct. 7 (TBS or MLB Network)
  • Game 4: Tuesday, Oct. 8 (TBS)*
  • Game 5: Thursday, Oct. 10 (TBS)*
    *if necessary

MLB Network will air one of four games on both Oct. 4 and Oct. 7. TBS will televise all other division series games.

The National League Championship Series will begin on Friday, Oct. 11 and will be televised by TBS. The NLCS is a 2-3-2 format:

  • Game 1: Friday, Oct. 11
  • Game 2: Saturday, Oct. 12
  • Game 3: Monday, Oct. 14
  • Game 4: Tuesday, Oct. 15
  • Game 5: Wednesday, Oct. 16*
  • Game 6: Friday, Oct. 18*
  • Game 7: Saturday, Oct. 19*
    *if necessary

The ALCS will begin on Saturday, Oct. 12 and will be televised by Fox:

  • Game 1: Saturday, Oct. 12
  • Game 2: Sunday, Oct. 13
  • Game 3: Tuesday, Oct. 15
  • Game 4: Wednesday, Oct. 16
  • Game 5: Thursday, Oct. 17*
  • Game 6: Saturday, Oct. 19*
  • Game 7: Sunday, Oct. 20*
    *if necessary

The World Series will begin the city of the American League pennant winner on Wednesday, Oct. 23, and will be concluded by Halloween. The Fall Classic will be televised by Fox:

  • Game 1: Wednesday, Oct. 23 at AL
  • Game 2: Thursday, Oct. 24 at AL
  • Game 3: Saturday, Oct. 26 at NL
  • Game 4: Sunday, Oct. 27 at NL
  • Game 5: Monday, Oct. 28 at NL*
  • Game 6: Wednesday, Oct. 30 at AL*
  • Game 7: Thursday, Oct. 31 at AL*

I hope we dont have any weekday games because those are dumb. I missed the 2004 playoffs because I was in school. Weekends anytime are fine
