Went on a 14 kill streak this morning on a Domination match on Dawnbreaker with the QBS-09. Semi auto shotguns are still OP beasts in close quarters lol.

 

Didn't really even notice the fact until I very briefly checked the in-game scoreboard and saw that i was like 15-1  :laughing:

Incoming patch being released tomorrow for PC and PS4.

one hit kill bug getting patched. Also audio(cutting out) issues getting patched.

leaving my PS4 in standby for sure so when I get home it's done.

Kind of annoying when 1/4 of your team is sniping on conquest & we lose cause of that.... I join them lol. Might as well get some exp for my recon while we losing..

All development of future DLC has been put on hold, and not just future BF4 DLC, but all other games DICE was developing for EA, like the much anticipated(not by me) Star Wars game.

EA told DICE to stop working on future DLC and focus entirely on fixing the base game to satisfactory levels first, before moving on to other projects.

2 patches later and I'm still seeing issues, although not game breaking anymore(not crashing anymore), like all black spawn screens, and some lag and frame rate issues when there's too much going on in a small space.

I was just thinking about purchasing Premium too, but I'll put that on hold for now. Assignments, new weapons and camos and exclusive double XP events can wait.

I'm glad that EA and DICE have taken this stance and shown their customers that they know they [expletive]ed up and are willing to work at it to ensure we have the best possible experience. From what I hear their stock dipped a bit in value after they announced this but it had to be done.

no point in releasing MORE and MORE maps and game modes when it'll just be broken and make it unplayable. Rather have a fully functional base game with 10 maps and ZERO issues than 25 or so total maps and a too many bugs and game breaking issues.

The only issue that BF3 & BF4 shared were the audio issues, as far as I remember.

Haha, same... I'm not used to 32x32 yet. My K/D  isn't where I want it to be, but my W/L ratio is alrite.

K/D's already higher than it ever was in BF3(1.41). I'm at 1.48 right now.

but I feel like BF3 was easier, maybe because I played it for so long, maybe because there wasn't so many customization options and pretty much heavy barrel and foregrip were the way to go on virtually everything.

It's kinda odd to me. Like on BF3 weapons were easier to control and be accurate with. Like the M416 or M16, pretty much 2 short burts were a guaranteed mid range to longer range kill. All the shots would hit. BF4, recoil is tougher to control, or maybe I'm just playing too aggressively and emptying clips wildly lol.

already have 500+ kills with the M416 and the A-91, and the Mini grenades are sooo money. Got like 250 kills with em already. Aproaching level 50.

85-90% of bugs and glitches have been patched, including the critical game breaking ones, so I would say yes, go ahead and get this as it IS and extremely fun online game.

Game is still buggy, but playable. Not sure about single player, someone reported their single-player game save is still getting corrupted.

^ I completed the Campaign as soon as the first patch was released, and I had no issues, before that the save files got corrupted twice and I had to re-start.

 

But i've read that it's still happening to some people as well.

 

The only bothersome bugs that I STILL notice is sometimes I get no hit markers and the crosshair disappears from the center of the screen. I hate that.

 

Also, sometimes when you get killed and attempt to re-spawn, the spawn screen goes completely black so you can't edit your loadout or more importantly choose a squad mate to spawn on. 

 

Lag issues are still there somewhat too. but I only notice this when there's like 25 grenades going on at once and like 25-30 players are going at it in a small area, so when stuff get chaotic sometimes it lags and the frame rate drops.

 

other than that i'm having plenty of success.

 

K/D is at 1.50.

 

W/L IS 1.94.

 

Level 50.

 

Currently running the ACE( :rock: ) 23  with the Coyote, Heavy Barrel and Stubby Grip with dat Tri Beam Laser.

Still havent hopped online with this yet thanks to school. Just finished up finals and got all winter break. After I catch up with the people back around the way I need to hop back on asap.

We’ve rolled out a new PS4 game update and will continue to make improvements based on your feedback. The update includes fixes with the aim to increase the general stability of the game, and eliminates bugs that you may have experienced.

Dec 17 PS4 Game Update Notes

-Reduced the probability of the “Kill trade” issue (see below for details).

-Fixed a common crash that could occur during round transition.

-Fixed a crash that could happen for players that had lots of friends.

-Fixed a problem where the “end of round” screen was adding up scores several times in the rank bar, resulting in the rank bar showing a higher value or rank than players really had.

-Fix for the game mode specific ribbons being counted twice in the multiplayer progression.

-Fix for a graphical glitch that could appear on terrain.

-Fixed an engine audio dropout that could happen when driving IFV’s.

-Fix for a camera glitch that could occur when players were switching weapons while moving in crouched stance.

-Fixed an animation bug for passengers on the China Rising dirt bike to make sure that the character is pointing in the direction where the player is actually aiming.

-Fix for an issue where 4x the damage from a vehicle's minigun would be applied to the chest when a player had the Defense specialization equipped.

-Tweaked the War Tape audio setting to remove distortion.

-Fix for the SUAV (introduced in the China Rising expansion pack) not exploding when hitting enemy soldiers. While these indeed should be deadly, they were never designed for “roadkilling” opponents.

-Servers with users playing on them are now by default placed on the top in the Server Browser.

-Servers that friends are playing on have a higher priority in the server list.

-Server Browser is no longer showing empty or full servers by default.

-Servers that are completely empty will be shown only when the “Empty” option is checked in the Server Browser filter.

-Server Browser filter will count a server as full if all “Soldier” slots are occupied, unless the “Free Commander” slot is checked.

-Balancing jet handling across all stealth and attack jet classes.

-Fixed a bug in Defuse mode where defenders could win a round by killing all the attackers without disarming the bomb. If the attackers arm the bomb, the defenders need to disarm it to win, even if they have killed all the attackers.

-Fix for players getting stuck in the revive screen.

-Fix for players getting stuck in the kill camera after being revived. Note that you might see a graphical bug on- screen after being revived when accepting a revive within 1 second. This graphical bug will be removed in the next patch.

-Fix for a Defuse bug where none of the teams would win a round by letting the timer run out.

-Fixed the instance where players suddenly would transition into Spectator Mode while playing the Defuse game mode.

-Fix for the death camera/screen being displayed too early.

-Raised the first-person camera slightly for walking in crouch to more accurately reflect the actual position of the character.

-Lowered IED explosion sound to not bottom out the HDR.

-General stability improvements.

Kill trading issue

We’ve addressed the so-called “Kill trading”. This refers to when two players fire at each other and, seemingly, both die at the same time. The time window where a bullet could cause damage from an already dead player is now calculated as intended, decreasing the time frame when players with high latency could get a kill, even though they should be dead according to the server. This should reduce the probability of kill trading.

 

Only two things I want implemented back into BF4 from BF3:

-Ability to form a squad in the lobby with friends

-Character load-out in the main lobby. Having it only in the server is annoying.

^ played a bit today. Didn't see any major improvement, if anything it looked like a step back.

some matches were super laggy and the frame rate was abysmal. Like playing in slow motion.

Cross hairs STILL disappeared. Wtf DICE.

new bug as well, now when you get revived the "accept" and "redeploy" graphic STAYED on the screen. Smh. Doesn't matter if you accept the revive or want to re-spawn, it stays there until you re-spawn again.

Get your [expletive] together DICE.

side note, had immense success with the suppressor and ace 23 today. epic, epic flanks on operation locker, got like 10 or 11 dudes in one and pretty much single handedly cleared the way for my team to go cap 2 flags and get us back in it.

Its amazing how stupid some players are lol. If you see a bunch of skulls(dead mates) all around you on the minipap it's probably a good idea to turn around and see what's up.

I was trying to snipe the driver in a vehicle and I missed

one shot

hit a mine, took out the vehicle with three people in it and 2 people standing next to it

 

That was the luckiest thing I've ever experienced in an FPS game lol
