WTF is wrong with so many people? Can't they ever learn to film the proper way?

Motion pictures have always been horizontal. Tvs are horizontal. Computer screens are horizontal. People's eyes are horizontal.

LOL

Idk, I imagine people just don't stop to think about it. A lot of people do most of their actions with their phone vertically. I would have to agree though, verticle videos are annoying. Turn your phone pl0x

Pretty much this. I hate it too, but people just do it without thinking about it.

It's funny, because I have the same problem in reverse where if I have an actual camera I always forget to take shots vertically when it would be more appropriate.

Still doesn't make it right and you're giving people a pass by that excuse. Where's the pride to make better decisions and break bad habits? Does it really cost people that much?

Interesting enough about a day after making this thread, I just randomly had a dream about being at some Shakira concert and getting out my phone and recording some footage horizontally, lol. I was very conscientious of it, while some of my "friends" continued on with their douchebag vertical ways.

Here's the correct way to hold your phone while filming:

Here is the exact opposite of correct:

Which couple is filming themselves correctly and which should reconsider what they're doing with their life?

:omg: I record video OBLIQUELY!  :omg:

OBLIQUE is the true way! Embrace it before it's too late!!!

Jokes aside, I hate vertical videos too. It's pretty annoying because it feels like looking into a keyhole.
