Lin told reporters on a visit to Beijing that he saw a natural affinity in the pair’s affection for the pick-and-roll game.

“We’re not yet in Houston and haven’t trained together so I don’t know yet,”

“But he really likes to play pick-and-roll and I really like to play pick-and-roll, so I hope we can work really well together and really happily learn how to play with each other,” Lin said.

Ah, the good old honeymoon period. It's all fun and games before the season starts, but then he'll start to cry. If he wouldn't run it with Steve Nash, one of the best team guys and pick and roll ball handlers, why would he run it with Turnover Lin and Choke Harden?

I wonder where Lin will get traded to as soon as Howard turns on him?

If you're tired of him you can start by ignoring his tbreads.

I'm not tired of it, I just find it ironic and hysterical that everything we asked him to do he seems to be doing for Houston... haha

Too bad Lin is not a good pick and roll point guard and Dwight is yes to show his success as a pick and roll Center.

Well considering he can only score with a dunk, a running start does help with that.

Apparently Dwight likes to play pick and roll with point guards except the best pick and roll point guard as well as one of the best pick and roll shooting guards in the league.

makes sense doesn't it?

Some people defended Dwight saying he made the best decision for himself. Now lets say he re-signed, then our bench gets upgraded with Nick Young, we get younger/faster with Wes Johnson and Jordan, Rambis becomes assistant coach, then the announcement of Kobe recovering ahead of schedule. That Laker team would have looked reloaded, revitalized, and hungry for another shot at a championship. Although we still might have people complaining about MDA.

Now look at the previews for the Rockets next season and even with Dwight, they are projected to be just the third/fourth best team in the West.

There's no question if Dwight remained and the roster moves we made this off-season still happened we'd be a championship favorite.

but he didn't trust our front office and was intimidated by Kobe.   So that was that.

^ Maybe, but if Dwight kept playing the way he was last season refusing to run pick & rolls & still [expletive]ing from time to time, probably not.

yeah that is true.  Then again if Dwight re-signed he'd pretty much have been saying that he was conforming to pick and roll etc.   And wouldn't have any more room to pout.

But he didn't cause he didn't have it in him. So the latter point is moot of course.

Lin may be solid but Dwight had Nash, arguably one of the best if not the best pick and roll artist of all time.
