And why would this clown be against HGH testing? Is he afraid of something??
I'm really disappointed he is the NBPA president, if that is what the players want...

That's a pretty bad start for CP3.

The flopping one is just comical. Of course he wants to get rid of those fines, it's his money that he's losing.

The HGH testing is an interesting one though.  I understand why they want to fight it as a union because fellow players will lose money if caught, but if they are not welcoming it, I have to think that players know it's an issue in the sport that hasn't had strong testing.

This is the thing that pisses me off the most. If you are taking these drugs, you basically cheating. In other words, you are defrauding the NBA fans and audience.

I honestly could care less about PEDs

If players want their soreness to heal quicker, and their muscles to recover faster more power to them

A man doesn't become president by vowing to do the sensible things, he becomes president by vowing to do what the majority wants. Flopping fines and HGH testing probably aren't very popular throughout the NBA player base, and he's just following up on his under the table promises.

So HGH doesn't also enhance muscle mass & increase speed as stated through a lot of reports?

Get rid of flooping fines.

Also, get rid of technical foul fines. Make it two free throws and ball back like college.

I am likely a minority in this, but shorten the season. It's killing player's bodies.

What do you propose for the flopping issue instead?

I agree that there's too many games, but as a fan, I'm selifsh and I love NBA basketball so much, especially compared to any other sport that I can't possibly have less of it. It's far too aesthetically pleasing with constant action. No other sport seems to come close in that regard.

I do agree in reducing the total of season games to probably 70 or so, nothing major but still will impact any kind of record mention.

Although if were getting on that issue then I'd as well say remove certain NBA teams that have no business playing basketball, obviously not a CP3 agenda just stating.

I dont disagree with the views in this thread, but have to wonder- would y'all feel the same way if he were a Laker?

Train the refs not to call fouls when flopping;.

Honestly, with 82 games, the season blends in a bit, and each game has less meaning. I think 66-72 is a good amount. Would led to less injuries, which has killed teams in recent years (us, Portland, Minnesota).

Don't really recall Derek Fisher making a statement as foul as what CP3 said.

I'm pretty sure they have. Real problem is they're just imcompetent for the most part. It's not always that easy, especially without the benefit of instant replay. Everything is moving so fast out there.
