Lee Thompson Young, a former Disney Channel star who appeared on "Rizzoli & Isles," was found dead this morning at the age of 29.

Police confirmed that the versatile young actor died in an apparent suicide of a gunshot wound. TMZ reports that Young’s landlord found him when he did not report to the set of the TNT drama this morning.

When officers arrived to his apartment at the 5000 block of Tujunga Avenue, they pronounced him dead at the scene. There is no word on whether Young left a note, and the coroner is taking over the case.

May he rest in peace. Far too young.

I remember that show as I used to watch the Disney channel from time to time in those days, but I never really tried getting into it.

Wouldn't have even thought he was 29 though by his babyface.

That's sad. Just watched him last night in Friday night lights

Wonder what drove him to it. His career wasn't dead, he still had work

Must have been something else

Famous Jett Jackson was among the last line of Disney shows I watched before they 'revamped' their programming. Definitely a memorable part of my youth. I remember his small but memorable part in Scrubs as well.

Hmm so him and Gia Allemand dead at the age of 29 both apparently suicide. Lee Thompson is a great actor he will be miss. Just remembered the singer Houston that sings "I like that" apparently gouging his eye out suicide attempt supposedly and story of Corey Feldman and Corey Haim getting molested, industry or Hollywood top people are sick. Things does not seem right or add up.

RIP.

It's really sad to see all these young actors commit suicide.

It really shows you what money/fame is really worth at the end.
