And they may sit out back to backs here and there too...we have 19 of them. That ESPN 12th place prediction may not be off after all

I think what the Lakers are banking on is a whole bunch of guys in 1 year deals are playing for their next contracts. They're hoping guys like Wesley Johnson, Nick Young, Kaman play out of their minds hungry for their next contract and ride that through this year. Interesting experiment

Nash and Pau will play a lot better this year than they did last year. I'm pretty sure mike D is gonna run Kobe into the ground again.

Still need that 3/4. Man I wish we had Clark still. Would be perfect.

I was fine with clark walking...

but, he would be a nice 3/4 fit...

I think other players can fit that role as well...
maybe Jordan hill can give 36 mins a night of quality PF play... a big maybe

At the same time, defense is our main issue – not offense – and since guys like Ronnie Brewer and Tyrus Thomas are still available i think we should move on these guys.

Limiting Pau's minutes can only be a good thing. 0 minutes per game would be ideal.

nsync had some good pop jams back in the day... girlfriend remix with nelly was dope af haha

I think Nash & Pau should use most of their mins in the second half.

and mins and injury are important when it comes down to a full NBA schedule.  The body wears down much easier at an older age over time

I [expletive]ing loved that song, Nelly killed that track! It brings me back to a simpler time: Kobe still had hair..sigh..But nostalgia rant out of the way, it really depends on where we are as a team during the second half to decide how much we play them.

Not gonna happen.  Nash won't come off the floor if he feels healthy.  Neither will Pau.  Both will want to be on the floor as much as possible unless we are winning big...

And Pau's in a contract year.   That's DEFINITELY not going to happen with him.  He's not thinking about his health.  He's thinking about his next contract...which won't be with the Lakers.

Nonsense. Nash will have limitations on his minutes. Obviously he's going to play 38 mpg in some games, if they're close, but in other games he'll see <25. Same with Pau, who'll end up staying with the Lakers.

22-11-4 could be the season average for Pau...

maybe a little lower, but he will have a great season

Umm no, Pau has never done that on even the best most equipped LA he's been on.  He isnt doing that at 33 yrs old.

Pau's best year as a Laker when he was 28 was 18.9ppg 11.3reb and 3.4 ast 1.7blks in 37MPG.  If MDA plans on limiting his minutes there is no way he's avg 22/11/4 even if he did get 37MPG
