I had my doubts initially, but the trailer actually looks pretty decent to solid actually. Encouraging that Don Mancini's so involved in this and they're supposedly trying to get back to the original hardcore purpose of Chucky in the first place & get away a bit from that whole "Seed of Chucky" thing.

Some speculation is that they might not have felt it worth it anymore since the best way to get a lot of money & box office for these films is a PG-13 rating and that just wouldn't do justice to Chucky.

They should have released it on Halloween then in theatres.   Would have brought in the money then.

Big mistake making it a Straight-to-DVD thing.   Especially with all the remake and re-imagining movies that are making money on nostalgia.
