Lou+Amundson+Indiana+Pacers+v+Orlando+Ma

The Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers were the two teams that Lou Amundson visited this week and discussions went positively with both organizations, agent Mark Bartelstein told RealGM on Friday.

Amundson had met with a couple teams last week and sat down with two more within the past few days, and the 6-foot-9 forward is continuing dialogue with interested teams in hopes of landing a deal soon.

“They were good meetings,” Bartelstein said. “I wouldn’t quite use the word frontrunner right now, but there’s interest, and hopefully we can get something done soon.”

Amundson, 30, averaged nearly two points and three rebounds a season ago and would bolster a team’s frontcourt. He has played for eight teams over a seven-year NBA career.

Another D'Antoni guy. A hustle player born in Ventura. Lakers fans, what do you guys think?

Lou is a STRAIGHT hustle guy.

He is definetely a guy who will WORK any tired guy in the frontcourt.

To be more specific in describing him

If you put Blake,Meeks, young,Lou and Hill out there, the energy would be incredible.

not much scoring talent but helps the frontcourt overall, he'll block a couple shots and run the floor too.

You ain't lying BBall IQ
This is one of them guys who works hard for rebounds and plays defense. Him and Hill would be nice on the boards.

Haven't heard of this guy, but based on what is being said, I wouldn't mind the pickup at all.

All I've ever seen of this guy is hustle, getting dunked on and Randolph punching him.    That and a highlight I saw on youtube of him bricking a free throw.   A last resort signing imo.   McRoberts lite.

You could do a lot worse than Amundson as your 4th big.

I think Amundson is a low risk low reward player with who'll probably be solid yet unspectacular - kinda like a frontcourt Steve Blake - which can be fine, if that's what you need.

This particular season though,i would prefer to take a chance on some high risk high reward guys, who perhaps could be building blocks going forward, like Tyrus Thomas and Michael Beasley.

No thanks! This guy is just a garbageman and hustler. He can't shoot, he can't pass, he is a huge liability offensively and he is really undersized.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Are you implying Chris Andersen is good?
