This. People say he still puts out great music, but I would have to disagree. When I here him now Im like ehh.

Definitely doesn't compare to his old stuff. For me, anyways.

I think everyone agrees with that, but when he drops something people get nostalgic about the old Em. I feel like because of this effect people think he is still great. People may want to still be able to bump his new stuff and get lost in the lyrics like they use to, but the truth is he doesnt drop anything that is close to old Em.

I completely agree. I try not to cast my opinion out as an end all cause everyone has their own taste in music...all music is good to somebody ya know. But, i think in the words of my people.. "he's played out man"

This song below is so underrated...seems like nobody talks about it.

And regarding his newer stuff (well, not BRAND new), this didn't get a lot of exposure, either, and his flow is crazy good.  It's the untitled "hidden track" from Recovery.

Em will always be the greatest in my books. There's no telling me otherwise. People tell me he's fell off, but I appreciate his wordplay even in his newer stuff so much more than the garbage produced by the rest of today's artists.

He's back at it

Not bad at all. Nothing like his old stuff of course, but this is still good stuff.

It doesn't matter if he "fell off" or that his stuff is now "average". He destroys any Lil Wayne-esque material that have been polluting our ears all these years.
