Ryan-Anderson-and-Gia-Allemand-June-2013

Gia Allemand — a former model who appeared on the ABC reality television programs "The Bachelor" and "Bachelor Pad," and the girlfriend of New Orleans Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson — died Wednesday, according to multiple reports. She was 29.

The Associated Press reported Tuesday that Allemand had been hospitalized in New Orleans on Monday night after "a serious emergency medical event." The specific nature of the event has not been made public, but she had reportedly been placed on life support before passing away Wednesday.

Anderson and Allemand's mother were reportedly at her side when she died. They are asking for privacy "on behalf of the family," according to a publicist.

Apparent suicide, wonder what cause her to take this drastic measure. Condolences to her loves one and may she find peace in heaven.

That's pretty shocking if so, especially considering the guy she was dating being that rich and seems like a great guy.

:'(

It is completely devastating to lose someone you love at such a young age. I hope he can get through this and play his heart out next season in dedication for her.

Damn, to us it seems like she was living a good life but who knows for what reason she decided to opt out.

If this really was a suicide then it just goes to show that money and fame doesnt necessarily equal happiness

Along those lines, unfortunately it seems, more often than not, we as people in general, whether rich, average, or poor, take for granted all the great things we're already blessed to have that not everyone else does. Most of us always have to find reasons to complain & want more. We're just almost never seemingly satisfied & truly appreciative enough.

well more the rich you are.. the less you actually get to enjoy being wealthy with your loved ones and friends.. your time is consumed with working...even when you do get time.. happiness isn't guaranteed
