Yes... this is reality...

Court Vision: Phil Jackson, Knicks’ Iman Shumpert respond to Kendrick Lamar rap

• California rapper Kendrick Lamar made social media waves Monday night with a verse on Big Sean’s “Control (HOF), which is Not Safe For Work. In the song, Lamar calls out a number of fellow rappers and also name-drops a legendary NBA coach: “If Phil Jackson came back, still no coachin’ me// I’m uncoachable, I’m unsociable.”

• That line prompted a Twitter reply from Jackson… because of course it did.

@kendricklamar it’s okay to be cocky and sure, but we all need somebody to lean on. Let’s just call it mentoring.

It’s almost like Jackson has had to give that advice to someone before… • Kendrick Lamar’s verse also prompted “Dear Kendrick,” a rapped reply from Knicks guard Iman Shumpert.

I think I stopped the Iman Shumpert song 20 seconds in lol. Didn't really like it much. Btw I don't think Kendrick dissed Phil nor did Phil reply back to him in a dissing manner. Hopefully they don't blow this up and say Kendrick dissed Phil lol.

People all overeacting over Kendrick bars. THe verse was light people just have shock value cuz Kendrick is a lil guy thats seems non threatening & cant believe he called names. Lil do most know he is the outcome of Eminem (weird word play & annoying voice) & The Game (name drops of any rapper regardless if positive or negative)

Lakers Nation interviewed Laker guard Nick Young at the Call of Duty: Ghosts Reveal at LA Live. Nick Young talked about the reveal, plus his thoughts on his cousin, Kendrick Lamar's new verse with Phil Jackson, plus what did he think about the ESPN forecast placing the Lakers 12th?

Did Nick Young say "you are watching lakernation.com baby" instead of "lakersnation," or is that just me?

Kendrick gave a wake up call to people. He killed it though!!

funny thing is, everybody other than the 11 rappers are responding to him. They should know what time it is !!
