As I pass the 10,000 post mark on LN I wanted post 10,001 to mean something significant about Lakers history.
So I dedicated this post/thread to the 2nd best passing SG the world has ever seen.
KB8/24's passing and court vision is often over shadowed by his tenacity and scoring. But the guy has dished dimes his entire career.

Currently KB has 5,887 assists averaging 4.8/game for his career.
Thats 32nd all time where the top 25 are all PG's and some guys who played SG on occasion.

Of ALL SG's only Clyde Drexler has more assists at 6,125, 5.8 apg.
And NO Jerry West who played the majority of games for 12 seasons at point guard does not count.

To put this accomplishment into perspective Kobe has more assists than:
Tony Parker 5,247
Chauncey Billups 5,594
Michael Jordan 5,633
and 9 other PG's in the top 50 all time for career assists.

Please continue this thread with vids that you feel are Kobe's best passes during his awesome career.
Thank you!

I think this is one of Kobe's under appreciated traits; it is what makes him a gem. Most of his ignorant critics label Kobe a ball hog, but on the contrary, he averages nearly 5 assists and is ill with it. It isn't just skill that makes a great passer, but also someone with a high basketball intelligence and strategy.

Since Kobe's the greatest scorer the league has ever seen, people don't really look much to his passing. But it's definitely an underrated skill of his. There was a string of games last season where he was able to consistently rack up 10+ assists when he decided to become more of a facilitator in the offense, so that definitely proves he's got that talent.

if Kobe really wanted  to be a pg, he would be leading the league. I think he should just to be troll.

When Kobe puts his mind to something, he's indefatigable and it's difficult to defeat him.
