A a few people you should ignore for Laker news would be Max Luckan and Insider Jay.  Max is just some kid that takes stories from other sources or makes obvious guesses.  Insider Jay was created on the Real GM Laker board during Dwightmare for S&G

Majesty, if you're going to post Tweets, please make sure they're from reputable sources.  Tweets from Elviro Ramas, whose profile says "The woman is the reflection of her man" and has french fries as his Twitter header is not reputable in the slightest.

I've been trying to tell him that for weeks now

If the guy can play and help the team, why not.  Its just weed. Im sure almost half of the players smoke it during the off season or even during the season.  Beasley just too stupid avoid getting caught.  Its not like he smoke crack or anything. Most people on here probably smoke weed themselves.  He is probably the best player the Lakers sign during this off season anyway if they do sign him.

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

Beasley should clear waivers today.

We may get our answers very soon.

Marcellus Wiley was talking about this the other day on the radio. He wasn't trying to sell out anyone in particular but did say that smoking weed is popular in the NBA and that it shouldn't be a shock to anyone.

But he did say that Beasley is known around NBA circles to have an issue with it and added that if you're known as the "weed guy" in the NBA, you know you have some issues. That's what Beasley is known as apparently.

The bright side is that it never came up during the season in PHX and the off-season issue as more evidence surfaces it seems like it was his friends and Beasley is guilty by association.   His association with someone that does smoke weed considering his issues and who he is, is pretty much the dumb decision.  Weed isn't the problem, but the decision making still seems to be apparently.

That said, I still want them to sign him.

Smoking weed is popular everywhere. It barely has any downside.

There have been deaths relating to marijuana DUI cases. It's just not as frequent as other DUIs obviously.
