Rumors are swirling that the Suns may waive Michael Beasley after he got in legal trouble once again for Marijuana.

A team like the Heat, Lakers, Bulls, or Pacers with a strong Front Office and coaching staff who think they can straighten him out (Like Miami and Birdman) may offer him a contract to provide some bench scoring.

What do you think??? He is a critical character but under the Lakers radar he would be a good fit..

For the vets min yes.  Anything more no.  Reason being is LA is a crazy place with many possible distractions for a young guy like Beesley, if he can't handle himself in Phoenix who knows what would happen here.  Then again there are lots of veterans and guys to possibly keep him on track so who knows.

Yeah. Just make sure he doesn't smoke before games.

Or at all. He's professional athlete... He shouldn't be doing these things.

If were going to be televised as much as currently slated, then yes we need more 'intrigue'.

I'm a bit iffy on this so I'd say no, mainly due to his background. I think he just hasn't found the right team for him, and the Lakers just isn't the right fit.

If the price is right hell yeah sign him.

It would be crazy to think that he is the only guy in the NBA to smoke........ But he is the only Clown that keeps getting caught lol

Beasley is a perfect addition to this year's Lakers. It's basically a team full of players who have something to prove.

Another terrible defender?

No thanks. We have enough offense. I'd rather sign a defender/rebounder.

Why? He shot 40% from the field and may not be a great locker room presence. One of the Sun's staff referred to him as the "worst Suns defender."

The Lakers have enough capable scorers.

Only if Lamar signs as well.  Then we have the  Cheech and Chong of the NBA.
