I won't disagree...but Pau enjoys being the bottom so it all works out in the end.

I wouldn't tell him that lmao

There is no middle ground with Pau with Lakers fans.  One end guys think he was the best big man in the game which is laughable and on the other you have guys that thinks he's completely overrated and probably done.

It lies somewhere in the middle.  Pau has always been able to put up good numbers which a certain amount of usage.  Problem is Pau is a slow foot on defense and pretty much at this point no one trust his game but Kobe.  Kobe just likes Pau b/c he makes him comfy not that he's great anymore but thats just my opinion.

Pau is better than given credit for on this forum, strangely enough. He was a beast in the final few games of the season, where a playoff spot was on the line and had two triple-doubles in 3 games. That's not something you see often for a 7-footer.

You're right. I guess it's because his flaws are so much in your face when you're watching him.

I dont think he's done. Skilled big men can stay in the League for a long time. All he needs to be succesfull is a hardnosed defender to cover his ass. Put him next Charles Oakley and he could be an all-star.

That is bull. Pau's all-star years are done.

Pau can still put up the same numbers he did when he was an all star winning championships.  Problem is that the top teams are pick and roll driven and Pau isn't mobile enough to hold down the paint and play PnR defense.  When the Lakers were winning a few years ago the better teams weren't heavily athletic PG driven and we could flat out counter them on the offensive end b/c Kobe was that good at the time.   4 years later things are different.  You can mark my words, the Lakers will never see another ring with Pau as their starting C and Kobe as their 1st option on offense.

Pau has gone from the most underrated player (in 2007-08) to most overated (in 2010-11), and now he's underrated again. Anyone who thinks his all-strar years are done, go watch how he plays in the olympics.

I'd rather watch how he plays in the NBA. You know...the league the LA Lakers play in.

How are you unerrated at 18 and 9.

Thats millsap numbers and EVERY year they talked about gasol to the Bulls and how he would be great there.

he was underrated, but as a Laker he was certainly overrated at times

Now , on this site, he is properly rated

Carmelo Anthony Isn't Considering Leaving Knicks

Sep 12, 2013 1:03 AM EDT

Carmelo Anthony can become a free agent next offseason, but he gave a strong indication that his plan is to re-sign with the New York Knicks.

"I'm not going nowhere," Anthony said during an interview Tuesday with Bloomberg Television's "Market Markers."...

This could be PR but it seems he's adamant in staying in his hometown.

^ I dont care what he says now. We've seen lots of players say the same and they go to other teams later.

Last examples were Iggy and Bynum. Both said they'd be committed to their previous respective teams..

When the Knicks fail this year that statement really is gonna mean nothing.

LeBron wanted to bring a title to Cleveland too till he realized it wasn't gonna happen.

One more year of carrying the Knicks to failure outta do it.
