That's cool man. But that doesn't look like 2k13 gameplay. Looks like 2k14. But that's dope AF.

PC modded version.  They add a lot of cool features to the game like TNT tickers and progressive sweat.

Yep all that stuff simulated into the game, even Kobe's sad face and eyes when he shot those free throws.   Amazing.

This is honestly the greatest thing I've seen in a while. The music and the message is enough to make me want Lakers basketball back.

2K's face modeling is still just awful.

There's no excuse for how bad every player looks.

The overall modelling is horrid imo.

I agree.  Everyone makes such a big deal about this game, mostly because there is no competition.  When someone jumps back into the fray I think the crappiness of these games will shine right through.

While I agree about the modeling isnt that good, thats something that really doesnt matter in a sports game or at least to me. The game play is the most important, and 2k has its problems but I still feel it has some of the best gameplay of a sports game right up there with fifa.

The game play is far too similar game in and game out.  it's the same rhythm for the A.I., and 2K has done nothing to correct it.  It starts off relaxed and quarter by quarter gets more and more unrealistic and tight.  It doesn't matter what team or player you play with the A.I. remains rigid and unrealistic.  At $60, and now possibly $70 a pop, EVERY ELEMENT OF THE GAME MATTERS!

The only reason people love 2K basketball games so much is because there is no competition right now.  2K sports has benefited greatly from EA dropping the ball so much on their last attempt.

2K basketball games are vastly overrated.

You just described every sports game out lol.

The biggest thing in every sports game that needs to be improved is the AI. Well in madden and NCAA it might be the animations with how things morph and shift when animations are triggered instead of actually just happening. This happens in all sport games to some degree but madden and NCAA is ridden with this.

I cant agree that its overrated because to me it is the best sports game out. Even though I feel fifa has better polished gameplay, 2K is a  basketball game and because of that Im gonna like it the most. Like I said earlier I think 2k and FIFA offer the best gameplay experience out of the sports game. NHL is pretty good as well. Madden, NCAA, and Live have always had bad quirks that you really only put up with because sport game selections are limited. Just looking at 2K like any other game I still think it is a pretty solid game. Not perfect by any means, no game is but I would give it an 8.

Hence why I don't buy sports games any more.  Repetitive and boring.  Playing online with people's attitudes and non-stop jabbering is absolutely unbearable.

It's only because there is no other product to compare it to.

Competition inspires innovation.  Since there is no competition on the market right now 2K has done nothing but sat back on the same thing they've done year in and year out, adding one or two tiny insignificant elements and charging another $60.

I've never had any of the issues of the game being the same every time. Although I do not go with default sliders or settings either. I've had games where I blow out teams, where I've been blown out, had 3 over times with buzzer beaters and all against just the CPU not a person.

2K is head and shoulders above competition since EA was making NBA Live still and 2K was making NFL 2K, why do you think EA tried so hard to get the exclusive contract with the NFL and then kept skipping Live/Elite since it couldn't live up to half the game 2K was putting out.

It tried so hard to get an exclusive contract because its a massive money maker.

It has nothing to do with keeping up with another company on their programming.
