Asked to rank himself among NBA point guards, John Wall said "I’d rank myself the best." http://wapo.st/18ROWJ3

I don't think he is but he's definitely gone under the radar.

Just look at his stats at the end of the season:

April: 24 PPG, 7.3 Assists, 4.8 Boards (Only 43% shooting)

March: 22.1 PPG, 8 Assists, 4.8 Boards (Solid 48% shooting)

Hopefully he can keep it up and stays healthy, especially with this new fat contract. I like when people with potential say they're the best. Go out and prove it.

Didn't Mario Chalmers say the same thing last year I believe.

Wall is good, but inconsistent, some injury concerns plus I don't think he much of a leader. Great athleticism and potential, but I don't think I even have him at my Top 5 PG. Granted he ended strong last season after injuries, so if he says he is the best, let him prove it.

^ Don't think that's real, but even if it's not, it still looked pretty cool.

Did Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Rajon Rondo, Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, Russel Westbrook, Derrick Rose, and Tony Parker suddenly up and leave the NBA?

^ At least give him some credit that he has gotten' better, but certainly still not good enough consistently, agreed there. He'll have a chance to prove us wrong though next season with heightened expectations.

Let's do some math real quick:

NBA Court = 94 feet

Time taken to run the span of the court ≈ 2 seconds

- This means he is running around 47 feet a second...

- Convert that to miles ≈ .009 miles a second

- Convert seconds to hours ≈ 32 MPH

- Usain Bolt tops out around 28 MPH

Conclusion?

John Wall should compete in the olympics

Normally I'd bash this sort of idiocy but I don't want him to be another bust. He needs to live up to expectations, and that can only happen if he is cocky, hardworking and have that iron will. His numbers are actually elite. He just needs to get down to developing a jumper now.

So what do you guys expect him to say ? I like that he said that he´s the best. Every player in the NBA who is competitive enough should say that they are the best. Even though Kobe isn´t the best player right now, if somebody asked him do you think he would say Lebron ? hell no.
