Foc.us: The first commercial tDCS headset that lets you safely overclock your brain

After an interminable wait, the first brain-boosting tDCS headset has finally received FCC approval and will begin shipping in the next few days. Dubbed the Foc.us, the headset jolts your prefrontal cortex with electricity, improving your focus, reaction time, and ability to learn new skills. The Foc.us is being targeted at gamers looking to improve their skillz, but tDCS has the potential to improve — or more accurately to overclock — almost every aspect of your life.

The Foc.us headset costs $249 (£179), and is available in the US, UK, most other English-speaking countries, Russia, and the rest of continental Europe. Pre-orders are being shipped now, and new orders should be fulfilled in August.

You gettin' one Wade?

If the foc.us headset can turn me into one of these guys I would sign up immediately. Are there any side effects? Reminds me of shock therapy though, so I may have to pass on this one for now, until results are substantially positive.

^ Well it passed through FCC standards for what that's worth.

Didn't they stop the profanity words on rap music on the radio back then, and I remember I bought a Bone Thugs cd and it had no original cuss words I was disappointed. Either way, I want to have the choices to what I want or do not want to be expose to. Ultimately, I just don't trust anything someone sells me that much.

Eminem without me

So the FCC won't let me be or let me be me so let me see
they tried to shut me down on MTV but it feels so empty without me

people are born with certain talent, but you need to make it grow

one chess grandmaster had his daughters play chess since they were little, now they are masters in it.

messi is the best because the amout of time he dedicated to master his skill, same with kobe

you can be great, of course there are genetic limitations.

More than likely not. I don't find comfort in using a device to aid my brain in its activities. I would rather naturally master tasks and unlock my own unlimited potential through natural means of hard work and dedication.

Before you know it, this technology may advance and you will eventually see hackers trying to mess with other people's brains in a dangerous manner.

It sure is a lot more affordable than I would've expected though. Would like to see more tests, testimonials, or videos of just how much it can truly enhance your abilities in other factors outside of gaming.
