Y! Sources: Detroit's finalizing a sign-and-trade with Milwaukee to acquire Brandon Jennings on a 3-year, $24M deal.

The Pistons will send Brandon Knight to the Bucks as part of the package for Jennings, league sources tell Y! Sports.

Per Woj.

Damn, good trade for bucks. I guess they like Stuckey as a 2 in Detroit?

Billups is a good  mentor for Knight but I'm not sure the same can be said for Jennings.

Then again, I like BJ with the bigs they have in Detroit, and I dont know much about their rookies but I hear people like them. So what do you guys think?

Brandon Jennings for Brandon Knight and contracts of Middleton and Kravstov is the complete deal construction

Decent deal I guess, but not like any of these two teams are close to being serious contenders anytime soon in my eyes.

Pistons have made the biggest dumbest moves this offseason

Jennings, JSmoove, Monroe, Drummond.

Nice young names but the team is headed nowhere.

Glad there wont be anymore Jenning talk now. Guy is extremely over rated and monsterly over paid.

Detroit is going to have some of the worst ball movement with Jennings and Smith both there. Low playoff seed, but potentially higher if they somehow get everything working together. Lots of talent but a lot of room for error.

Josh Smith at 3 is messing up a lot of things. Otherwise Jennings - Monroe - Drummond would mesh well for couple of years (until Drummond bolts the [expletive] outta there)

Detroit had a great foundation going with Drummond and Munroe and Knight as a 6th man type of player.  All they had to do was go after a wing like Iggy or draft a good decent one and add shooters.  They threw all their cap room and flexibility away for Jennings and Smith...smmfh

I understand Joe Dumars is a legend over there, but at some point one's gotta' think even he's not completely safe from the hot seat.

Actually as overrated as Jennings stats are, not a terrible fit pre Smith signing with Detroit. But that  front court is so loaded with Smith, you have no spacing and are asking subpar shooters to throw up countless clunkers. While their bigs are certainly developing, they don't have enough to carry this team.

Worst part is if they struggle mid season, probably move Monroe thinking that no matter what the Jennings/Smith has to work. This is only slightly better mesh than the disastrous Gordon/Villanueva signing from a few years ago.

Agree.  It's easy to see and say it when it's the other team's management.

If Drummond starts, they need to start Jennings and Billups. Stuckey is the new Vinnie Johnson I guess. Everyone is undersized.
