He probably is gonna be bought out of his Magic Contract..check out:

Al Harrington says if his contract is bought out by the Magic, he would like to play for a contender.

Harrington said, "I want to win, so I'll put it like this: I want to go to a situation where I can compete to make the playoffs," he said. "I'm too old to play for nothing. When I was younger, of course you play for stats and you want to be good, but I'm not going to be a Hall of Famer or nothing like that, so I want to win. I just want to win.

"Whatever situation I can get to where I can help a team win, that's what I want to do. I don't want to play 36 minutes or none of that. Play 20, 25 minutes, just help mentor the young guys and stuff like that."

If Harrington's contract is bought out, should LA pursuite him for the min. ?

No he shouldnt be an option.  What for? What future value does he bring? Al Harrington is on his last leg as a player literally.

Harrington has to bad knees. Came off of surgery last summer and didn't play much last year. I would've taken him if he were healthy. But even if he was, I don't think we would see him in a Laker uniform cause he hates D'Antoni.

That's irrelevant seeing that he took that vet slot.  Even then if you are one of the fans looking to appear competitive this year then Kaman isnt a bad signing.  Harrington on the other hand is one foot into retirement.

That's why you give him the chris kaman deal?

I wish we could leverage Marion from the Mavs. He is the player that we need. Young Nick brings to the table, I think we need that Matrix hustle.

You guys just see names on the back of jerseys and remember how good they were 5-10 seasons ago and think they can still play that way.  Al Harrington is far from a good player at this point in his career, and I don't think he would want to come to a team that will be middle of the road at best, nor would they want him.

This all the way.  Young is a prime example.  Dude is in like his 8th season and has always been the player he is but now guys think he still has a breakout season coming.

Young will be what he is, he will have some big games and more bad games.

Would be a close to perfect fit for our system, but sadly he & D'Antoni don't have a great relationship as has been noted here before.

yo.

Which is hilarious because MDA's offense is the offense he was most successful in =p

I've always liked Steve Blake.

He'd basically be the same thing Jamison was for us. I'd still rather have my boy Lamar back.
