Let's also see if they can all stay healthy of course as well, especially Daniel Granger.

I actually think moving forward they aren't too preoccupied with Granger honestly. If anything him being healthy is just more icing, plus given the right times could be a huge bargaining chip in more trade talks.

Every team is adjusting to Miami while Miami still does not make moves and grow a year older and remains the same.

Writing's on the wall.   Miami isn't 3-peating.

They wouldn't have won this past year, if not for Kawwaii Leonard, going all kawai leonard on those FTs...
And Ray Allen being clutch

or Popovich sitting Duncan....twice.

or the Pacers coach sitting Hibbert.

Some of the idiocy from competent coaches seemed scripted sometimes.

It's going to be very hard to tank this season.

I lost hope of the Lakers doing it after they didn't use their amnesty on Kobe. And, for good reason. There are going to be some really awful teams.

For people hoping they're going to sit Kobe, that's not how it works. The FO needs to get rid of the players in order to tank. The coaching staff isn't going to willingly sit down Kobe. The team does it's best to win with what they have. The FO needs to make it impossible to win with what they have.

Which in turn could also indicate the Heats three peating as well unfortunately.

Another team out East drastically improves while the Heat remain idle.

Not looking too good for that 3PEAT, Bronny.

If Allen misses the jumper popovich is considered one of the best coaches ever. If there was scripting I believe a former coach/player would have come out and said something about it.

Miller is also a huge reason why they won. Now he's not with them anymore. Miami got worse, not better.

Pacers looks scary good on paper. Good luck on that 3-peat LeBron.

Pacers lost last year because they lack bench production an West fatigued. Indiana's main concern is bench.

Good pick up for the Pacers. They will obviously need to make it past the heat again, and if Hibbert plays like he did this year they have a good shot. The thing is if they play any other team that has a semblance of a front court they wont be as effective. MIA made Hibbert look like Kareem, when he goes up a legit center it shows just how pedestrian his offensive game is.

They lost because they beat themselves more than anything to be honest. Turnovers did them in. Sloppy possessions, horrid decision-making, shaky ballhandling, and inconsistent outside shooting. If they can cut down on their turnovers, show a little more poise, and learn not to beat themselves as much as they do they should be fine.

wonder what would happen if Hill  and Watson missed the first six weeks, and Hibbert,West and Scola all get banged up in the same game?
