Team options on second years and can be cut before the cutoff date during the season.   like DJO.
Not that I'm saying you're wrong but I haven't read anything to indicate that. Do you have any sources? Preferably multiple?

Sacre's 3rd year is non-guaranteed.
Harris' 1st year is partially guaranteed and the second is non-guaranteed.

It is good to see a team full of proud Lakers. You never know, some of these guys might play as if there is no tomorrow for them.

He's gonna score 50 per night just like Nick Young.

Mike D'Antoni is GARBAGE.

I really cant explain this...maybe we are tanking? haha but why give a 2 year deal. Is the 2nd year guaranteed?

He didnt really stand out in the summer league games. If anything his game is like Josh Powell's

You really want to tank huh! You should know by now that Lakers tanking will never happen lol...

Plus if we even try to tank, our fan base will go ballistic! We can barley stand a 2 game losing streak.

He's a big kig who has a shot at developing a perimeter game. Isn't this exactly what MDA wants? Good sign.

well they are tanking otherwise we would've gone hard after better players...we signed guys who shoot 3s and put up inflated numbers, cant play a lick of D. When was the last time Nick Young, Jordan Farmar, Chris Kaman were instrumental in helping team win games lol these dudes have been around for 5-6 years now

Who else could've we gotten for the vets minimum who are better then Young, Johnson, and Farmer?

we have the mini MLE we could've used it on guys who can actually contribute like Marco Belinelli or Mike Dunleavy or Dorrell Wright or Andray Blatche (who took othe minim.), CJ Watson (minimum),

These are actually championship quality role players and are versatile. We signed dudes who put up misleading numbers and can be fun to watch from time to time.

We didnt sign the 1st list of players because it wouldn't make a difference between winning a title or not, whats the point in upgrading your role players when your core players (Pau, Kobe, Nash) are not good enough to win a championship to begin with? If they were, Lakers would've gotten the upgrades instead they went as cheap as possible

Or those first tier players had no interest in the Lakers....?

These guys are all three point specialist as well, but also don't play a slick of defense...

We were interested in Mike Dunleavy he chose Chicago we wanted Chris Copeland he chose Indy, not really much the Lakers can do.

Cj watson isn't a championship caliber player. I'd rather have Farmar who actually has two titles and knows what it takes to get there.

All these players Mitch signed really wanted to be apart of this team. Nick Young deserves more than the vets min, Kaman deserves more than the Mini MLE, Wes Johnson deserves more than the vets min and Farmar as well.

We could've had worst players. This is a very underrated off season.

We could've had worst players. This is a very underrated off season.

Belinelli and Dunleavy dont play defense? They were coached under Scott Skiles and Tom Thibodeaux both are defense 1st coaches and both had no problems giving these two guys plenty of minutes.  And guess who Dunleavy is with now? Chicago. And guess who Belinelli is with now? San Antonio.  If Pop and Thibs have interest in them, we should have interest in them as well

Farmar won two titles but he was never a big reason why, he basically filled in the minutes that Fisher was out. Watson can play defense...just ask Thibodeau

We signed players because they wanted a chance to put up numbers and showcase themselves for 2014 (like Farmar) or dudes who simply dont have any better alternatives (Young, Johnson, Kaman), we didnt sign any quality udes who are actually gonna help us win a championship

We dont have a champoinship caliber core. We dont have a championship caliber roster. Period

Our team is gonna play with more togethernress, they're young, fun and have a little bit of athleticism. THeyre gonna be fun like the Van Exel/Eddie Jones crew was but by no means is this team a title contender. Cant play defense and not exactly match winners in tight situations
