Well...

We all knew he wasn't too smart....

But this just proves he is out of his freaking mind...
Does he think he played and won MVP last season?

CP3 is the best PG in the league. Then comes Rondo. Rose can battle for that third spot.

So then, Nash is a great PG according to your definition, right?

Was he not a great point guard?

....obviously he was. :smh:

Yes.

I didn't say "was". I said "is". According to his definition, he's still a great pg!

I think he is too. He's not as "explosive" as he once was maybe.. he can still shoot great.. can make the right passes..

only thing is.. we can't be dependent on him being the main facilitator

Arrogant statement considering the scrutiny he has received, in large part from his hometown fanbase mainly which says alot about the situation. I won't bash him for it because if he were to return and pick up where left of, produce a 25/8 season, then I will be impressed.

I haven't even seen practice videos, only statements that come out is he is beating everyone on practice, nothing else to go by until the season starts.

yeah they bash him for sitting out the season for his health cause he wasn't confident in his body yet.   But bet your bottom dollar if he left them now considering how much stronger the East got they'd become a lottery team.

So they should be very happy that he didn't return unsure of himself and hurt himself again.

There's no reason NOT to think Rose is going to come out the same if not BETTER than he was before.'specially if hes 100% healthy

I'm taking a healthy Rose over any point guard in the league.

CP3 is the more well rounded PG in the league. Comparing Rondo and Rose is difficult, because Rondo's offense is susceptible and is best at pure distribution with decent lane penetration and above average defense.

Rose is an offensive minded PG, but given the Bulls roster need of offense then it is understandable. I just wonder hypothetically if the Bulls were to bolster their offense, would Rose be as well praised.

Any opinions on Rose's actual PG ablitlies and not to say he cannot pass, but I mean as far as floor general and making those critical plays. Actually I cannot remember how Rose's defense is either.

He's the best offensive PG in the league with no second option and he still has 7 assists per game. I'll take him everyday of the week. Also, I don't know of any PG who has the entire team on his back like Rosé does.

Seems as if everyone has forgotten just how good Derrick Rose is.

The same Derrick Rose who won an MVP award after just 2 seasons in the league.

There is nobody out there who does more than Rose at his position. Maybe guys that do one or two things better (Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo) but NOBODY is asked to do more than Rose.

While we are on the topic of best point guards and having just watched the blue white game, what are the opinions on Kyrie Irving and where he ranks?  I personally see him as chris paul type of point guard, great handles and sees the floor well.

He will be the league's best point guard in 2 years. He just needs to stay healthy.
