He seems like a guy that can really expand his game and has alot of potential.  I like the post moves and footwork the most as well as his athleticism.  Anyone who is saying Elias Harris over this guy is crazy...

I'd rather have Harris, really liked what I saw from him in SL.

This shows how little history some posters know.  You realize Thomas was a summer league player for the Defenders before the 11-12 season and that he was cut?  He just isnt a good player.  Why is it so hard to believe some guys just don't cut the mustard.  Youtube highlights are the worst thing to use to evaluate a players NBA ability.

Was wondering when I'd see Ms Debbie.

I think we remember enough, because as I said we brought him into camp 2 years ago and then assigned him to the D-fenders, it was one of the D-Fenders best years and they played in the Championship that year too in the D-league.

He in 2012 and 2013 he went overseas and played for the  Euroleague and improved and expanded his game and he rejoined the D-Fenders upon returning till he was called up by both the Warriors and then the Bulls who liked him enough they signed him for the rest of the year.

Eventhough minutes weren't guaranteed, he absorbed everything he could from their bigs as well as Thibs on defense and did what he could to continue to get better and work hard despite knowing he likely wouldn't get play time over the likes of Noah Boozer and Gibson.

He then played for the Bulls summer league team showing a better all around game and setting the record in rebounds while playing very well.

The Bulls LIKED him and his defense but cut him for financial reasons.

It's quite obvious he's a better player than he was as a rookie in 2011-2012 season.   But I was sure you wouldn't bring that up and would focus on his rookie year, but neglect his improvements since coming back from the Euroleague and showing he was a better player than he was 2 years ago, this year while talking about how people don't "remember" two years ago.  I'm sure they do, you just don't notice "current" improvements in his game.  Living in 2 years ago can do that.  Ask people that believe Pau will be an all-star this year ;)   (not many of them are on this forum.. but others and facebook....eh)

But hey it's fine, you're just being "real" right? :)

He apparently improved each year since he came into the league...

Did you watch any of him in the summer league? he just was getting rebounds... the announcer could barely keep up...

I did... he just has a nose for the basketball... an ability that no matter how you think, or study shots, I will never be able to replicate...

Look at NBA finals record holder Danny Green, he bounced around the D-league, and such, but he developed an NBA skill, 3 point shooting had a team that used him for his skill...

Thomas is athletic (by laker terms) and would be nice next to slow movers Kaman or Gasol...

Also, a Hill/Thomas lineup would not be giving much up to ANY team in the NBA for low post athletic players... (compared to Kaman and Gasol who would be a subpar athletic frontline back in 1982...

Character played alright in the Summer league, and in limited mins with the lakers, but he had other issues that lead to him leaving the team...

m.Thomas is an NBA ready rebounder...

And Yes...

I think Pau could be an all-star THIS UPCOMING SEASON...

3 triple doubles in his last 7 games...

just saying!!!!

Pau has a higher number of triple-doubles in those 7 games, then the ENTIRE NBA had combined in the playoffs!!!! (LeBron had 2)

Don't know much about this guy - but he sounds like a low risk, high reward type of player. Why not go for him?

Seth isnt an NBA talent at all.  I wouldnt be against signing Thomas but he's not some diamond in the rough like Earl Clark was.

You can never have enough Guards.

Lakers should go get Seth Curry.

Delonte West destroys him on both ends.

We don't need another guard....

Unless we ended up trading Blake.

Low risk.

High Reward.

Not really seeing the issue here...if there is someone better available...or someone better becomes available, cut Thomas and sign the other person...

I don't understand arguing over an end-of-the-bench player...
